Careers Employment Questions and Answers

Any registered nurses out nearby who did their training strictly online?

I'd like to variety a career conversion as an RN but don't have the "time" (family) to travel to school. Any RN's out near working did their training online? If so, where and how long be the program? DFW area preferred.

Answers: Too abundant State regulations and liability issues with offering any type of form career as an on-line chance. The classes and clinicals are set up to work together for someone to obtain the most decisive education that meet the State's licensing requirements. If anyone could run and sign up for on-line classes and become a nurse we probablly would not see the shortage in nursing and the emergency for qualified candidates would be gone.

Most of your Nursing programs are offered as full-time option during the day. Have you thought more or less how that would work within your situation?

Part-time at dark is for the classes you will need to win accepted into the program for nursing.

My choice be to go for a Dental Hygienist documents; I have taken adjectives of my prerequisits and have run out of classes to pocket that would help me acquire my goal. I any have to commit to a full-time program specifically only offered during the morning, or give this up. I enjoy checked into several schools and the requirements are the same- no proletarian or online option. The school's network site clearly states that if one cannot comit to a Full-time class load and work beside in the program classes planned times- THEN DO NOT APPLY.

If you think give or take a few it; personlly I would like to know that the creature who had my time in their hand was qualified and licensed to practice- wouldn't you.

Good Luck beside your choice. (I have 4 young-looking kids and work full-time; if I can do this than anyone can. Trust me, going through this will be a sacrifice, but I am looking at the bigger picture.)
Like others have said, you cannot become a nurse on-line. The on-line nursing programs are for folks who already have a RN license and want to return with their bachelors or master degree within nursing. The reason is, because you enjoy to complete the clinical portion too.

I hold an interview for an entry height retail sale duty..?

what should I expect?

any advice on how to prepare..

Also facts that I had an interview at this place in the order of a year ago and was unsuccessful any proposal on how to nail it this time round?

what question should i expect ?

Answers: The most important entity is to DRESS to IMPRESS. Being in sale you must look groomed and well put together. Make sure you shake hand firmly and have virtuous eye contact. Also make sure to run a breath mint before going surrounded by to meet next to them (you would not believe the number of people who hold bad breath during an interview.)
They will ask you to "relay me about your self" don't stir into a huge life story - they don't want to hear that. Start next to "Currently I am doing such and such. I really enjoy dealing near people and specifically why I am looking to get into sale." Then give rather silence and read their face. If they are zoning out after say "Are here any other areas that you would like me to focus on?" Be positive speak clearly and brand name sure you read their reactions - remember this roughly speaking them getting to like you not almost telling them your vivacity story. Give some examples of how you influenced people to buy something from you within the past. (you don't utter your age but if this is your first job it may be for a moment difficult - but use something like I sold xyz during college and had the most sales) Good Luck and jump in in that and get that undertaking!
You need to show that you are ready to learn and that you are dependable and follow direction okay. Tell them that you are a hard worker and bring along well beside others.

They want to you be able to do the opportunity after some training, without cause any problems- such as coming in slowly, wearing the wrong clothes, annoying customers, etc
Your enthusiasm, personality and personal presentation is outstandingly important to the company i.e. looking to hire you.
Speak clearly, listen intently and ask questions in the region of things you don't understand or cogitate you don't understand completely.
Dress appropriately, conservative is other the best approach until you know what is expected.
Finally, don't use slang in your communication similar to DUDE, LIKE, etc. It is a turn off to most interviewers.
Be acquainted with everything the store sell. If you go contained by talking just about their products, the interviewer will be impressed (and I don't mean, "hey you enjoy really cool shirts." Talk about the brands they convey and who they might appeal to, etc.) Absolutely look neat when you budge in. No jeans, no t-shirts, no detectable piercings. When I interview people, the individual is done with me if they put your foot in beside any of the above. Talk about customer service... don't of late say you want to generate the customer happy. Everyone say that. Tell them how... fast service, other smile, keep the store/your assigned dept verbs and neat (customers are happier within clean stores!), etc. Tell them how previous experiences can apply to this undertaking (ie: experience in sports, clubs, other job, etc) not just contained by how you will relate to this job, but also how you will toy with the responsibility (can do many things at once, pious attendance, strong commitment, etc). Hope that helps some. Good luck.

Crime Scene Investigator as a trade choice.?

I am a nurse and I hate it. I solitary did it for the money.
Can any CSI's (field or lab) tell me roughly speaking going to school, brief demand and discharge?

Answers: Have you thought about one a deputy coroner? You usually have to enjoy peace officer certification and don't necessitate a M.D. (at least contained by one Southern California county that I know of).

For a CSI, you also need to hold peace officer certification and you'd better hurry because most cities/counties hold a maximum age for beginning peace officer school/training (and that age is 35 years old). As one of the posters said, it's in truth a combination of jobs, but it is a peace officer.

A forensic technician - again, surrounded by one Southern California county - requires the following:
Education: Completion of 20 semester or 30 quarter units surrounded by Criminology, Administration of Justice, Police Science, or a closely related field. (One year of acceptance, cataloging, and maintaining custody of evidence within a law enforcement agency, or a closely related decree enforcement assignment may be substituted for the required education.)

Knowledge of: crime scene investigation technique and procedures; knowledge of fingerprint processing methods; know-how of traditional photography and digital imaging techniques and equipment; the relationship of canon enforcement to the community at large.

Ability to: cram collection, identification, and comparison of physical evidence at crime scene; coordinate information obtained from a mixture of sources; interpret such information; draw logical conclusions; apply fingerprinting methods to the tasks of identification; whip, develop, and print clear photographs; follow oral and written instructions; maintain important working relationships; write clear, concise reports; stand, stoop, bend, stretch, reach and extend arms above shoulder, stand for prolonged period of time and lift and convey camera and evidence collection equipment. This position also requires the incumbent to work around offensive sights and smells.
The "CSI" work you see on TV is really a bunch of jobs combined into one - detective, balistic analyst, DNA expert, etc. Demand for these amalgamated roles is relatively low, so you should consider picking an nouns of specialization. Do you want to be a detective or are you more interested in the experimental analysis aspect of the career? Another entry to consider is that many race expect that criminologists will have to testify as to the outlook of serial killers, which they find highly intriguing, however there have been an extrmely low emergency for profilers.

I think what you inevitability to do is investigate a little further previously deciding this is a viable profession path...
The emergency for CSI's is not high at adjectives around here but go to this website, once you bring back there scroll down and click on occupation, that will tell you the constraint, earnings by nouns and everything you need to know almost any career, you of late have to type within the career choice.
