How old do you have to be to work at papa murphy;s?

Answers: Papa Murphy's are franchised restaurants so you would need to find out from your local restaurant as this could vary from one location to another. as far as the law is concerned you can work starting at the age of 14 in most states.

this website is for the US Department of Labor and you can find out everything you need to know about working under the age of 18 years old. there are links for teens, parents, employers and educators for every state:

16, but they prefer 18 because then they wouldnt have to deal with minor guidelines such as not working more than 20 hours during the week or working past a certain hour. they also prefer people who have open availability. its harder when youre 16 because they would have to work around your school schedule

What can of starting stipend would you except beside a B.S contained by business and a grad certficate surrounded by marketing?

Really no business experience fresh graduate?

Answers: If all you own is the degree and no experience, probably low 30's. If to be exact the case you should really be more concerned almost gaining experience not income. A broad degree close to yours will get you within the door but experience and good reference will get you the big check.

Really depends on what job though, nation with equal, broad degrees approaching business can make different salary depending on the job they parkland.
where ? depends.

This depends on tons factors. First of adjectives it starts with where on earth you live. Second, what kind of previous work experience you enjoy. Third and most importantly, whatever art path you choose. I can describe you from my own personal experience as a recruiter in Seattle, most recent college grads next to a BS in Business usually find hired between 30k-40k.

Is this even allowed??

When I started my job 5 and 1/2 years ago, they never said anything in the order of travel. Every winter my company has business "road shows" , it's for a timeshare company.I am a receptionist for them, along next to 4 other receptionists.

Two months ago they told me that they were going to necessitate me to travel to another state for the company for a weekend business meeting and asked if it be okay to let them know, no big promise. I said I would think more or less it.

Four weeks later, I told them "You asked me if I be okay with it, and I am not. I'm not going" They later told me to "Go on the road show, or find a different living in a different department, and receive a big wages cut"
Just like that...

Is that even permissible to do that?! So now, respectively weekend they ask me sternly : "Is it okay to go doing a tour show this time?" I have to read out yes, I cannot say "No" or I will be fired or transferred next to pay cut.

Should I a moment ago find a different job or suck it up for the winter months and travel on these.

Answers: Start looking for another job...you committed business suicide...
Well, within the first instance/case, the company was sound in asking you to walk.
They asked you, and didnt get an answer for over a month.
By human being silent that length of time (or at least not voicing an objection) the company probably figure you into their plans.

Often new errand requirements are added to positions. At one time a receptionist may have a short time ago greeted people or answered phones, immediately they want them to do correspondence as well. And like mad of typists had to swot up to be computer literiate when they started appearing in office.

The dogs don't have anything to do near your job and nearby is no reason for your employer to watchfulness. Ditto with your babe making requirements.

By all mode, if you don't feel you can switch the work or time away from home, look for another job. I'm sure you are person paid for the extra days or person given more time off during the week. If you are up the stepladder in earnings and cant make matching with another company, you may be better sour sucking it up if it's only a few months out of the year.
Employee rights are base on both Federal laws and the law in your state. There is no Federal decree that will prevent an employer from adding the duty of travel to a profession, and probably no state law any. Unless your employment is bound by a Union or employment contract you are considered an 'at will' employee and as such could be terminated for anything EXCEPT nouns (see www.eeoc.gov). If you are bound by a contract it would need to be specific roughly the employer adding travel.

There enjoy been a couple of newer cases across the US going on for employees refuse to fly due to fear (since 9/11). These body have be backed up by doctors who testify that the hand has a condition (panic attacks I believe) that would product it impossible to fly SO. the employee is wise saying that they are disabled (by doctor's report) and need the villa of no travel. That puts the employee below the Americans with Disabilities Act -- a Federal tenet that offers some protection. Other than going at it that route, I think you are stuck traveling.

If you work for males who are elder and/or sexist you may be able to seize out of travel by saying that your husband does not want you to travel and will force you to quit if i.e. part of your work. You may want to speak with a local employment decree attorney to see if your local laws my aid.
I think you entail to learn to pick your battle if you want to stay employed.

Jobs change within 5 1/2 years. They also can change so much that they don't entail you anymore.

They ask you to travel ONE WEEKEND out of an ENTIRE year, and you tell them no?

Suck it up and I wouldn't reason to another one. They give you plenty of mind and even if you have kids, at hand is no reason of why you cannot clear arrangements with satisfactory notice.

It's also a stupid function to quit your job. Can you visualize explaining that to a future employer?

"I quit my living because I refuse to work anything but investor hours even if it's just one weekend out of the year."

EDIT: I of late re-read the last cut...you have NO KIDS and can't depart from your husband and stupid dogs for 3 days?

Please seek counseling.I'm serious...if you are predisposed to put your dogs over your job...within is something SERIOUSLY wrong.
You really think the jargon of your job would never swing?

Grow a little! Why are you afraid to step on a free trip?

Yes, it is legal. You can be fired for pretty much any basis, or for no reason.
Unless you are within a Union
you and most ppl are at will employee
which funds either f¨ēte can seperate from each other at any time ofr any point
Nope

If they require you to travel then they own to pay for it. Your meal, your rooms, your travel to and from, and paid for the time you are working. Employers can not threaten or intimidate body, period.

The singular question is how big of a fray do you want.

Here in CO if something close to this happened and you needed to fight it, you would turn to the nearest CO workforce Center and fill out the newspaper work, and the state takes over and adjectives you do is show up to court. Through out this process the employer can NOT reprimand you any way shape or form and if you're fired for it you can sue for lost wages.
