Should I name the owner more or less a undertaking? (at a bar)?
I am looking for a new bartending situation. My gf told me that one of her coworkers knows a woman who freshly opened up a lump and who needs a bartender. Then the coworker give her the owner's number. But should I call? Or merely go surrounded by and apply? Wear my eyeglasses or not to interviews?
The reason I don't want to wear them to interviews is1) because I no longer approaching the frames for my glasses. They are those wide open black nerdy style glasses. And from my assessment as to what I have see,,, they mostly look good on white nation, and I'm hispanic. They also look good on athletic correct looking people (everything looks worthy on them I guess hehe), and I'm a little overweight. And third, self-esteem counts a lot. Those frames look worthy on outgoing talkative nation. But I'm shy and quiet. So my point is... that I regard as I don't look good on them and look resembling a weirdo. [I'm a male but touch kind of similar to Uggly Betty (from that show) ] hehe
On one job interview they own told me that I was virtuous on the interview but that they thought I didn't fit in the group (whatever that means)
I can fantasize that are near. And can read minus glasses, they basically help me see better.
Once I procure the job, I will wear them and squirrel away for new frames hehe. But my unadulterated question is this:
Answers: Why don't you a short time ago do whatever make you feel the most confident? If you are more confident in need glasses, don't wear them.
As for starting a employment wearing glasses, it is more adjectives than you think. Many inhabitants want to look their best on interviews, so people will commonly look/dress a certain method they would normally not.
Anyway, when you start a up to date job, culture always start out dressing nice contained by the beginning. Look at those same society 6 months down the line and you'll see them sitting within their cubicles in shorts and flip-flops (I kid you not).
You really imagine they care?? They're concerned beside your accomplishments and your attitude.
If you haven't accomplished anything near your life and you hold a rotten attitude, do you really think your galsses will create a difference??
Just wear them if you need them.
Do you really obligation those glasses? If I don't wear mine, for example, I will procure eyestrain and blink constantly.
I think that far more critical is poise and confidence. If your are composed and relaxed during the interview, you'll do fine. I've interviewed people, and I never even become aware of glasses. I freshly care that the being can do the job, will do the situation, and will fit in near the people already working.
Eyeglasses should hold nothing to do w/ your application. The result should be based on your experience, your presentation, and your fit for the role. Feel free to wear or not wear them as you close to.
I suggest being comfortable on the interview, as you'll do better when you're impression comfortable and confident.

Glasses make ethnic group look studious, so this might work well for you.
I other think it best to move about to an interview in a bearing you are most comfortable with, if you surface better without them, go off them off, as long as you are not going to be screw up your eyes etc!
I'm sure you don't look as nerdy as you make out, anyway, what's wrong near nerdy? If you're shy and quiet, I contemplate glasses will serve you. You can hide aft them and also look studious!
