Answers: First it's deeply tough to prove unlawful termination of employees. Unless an member of staff is fired only because of person in a protected class, within most cases employers can fire who and when they want near no legal ramification.

Answers: I would say-so that they do. If you can speak fluent English and have moral customer skills then you should apply. You may also involve computer skills, too.

Answers: Be honest, when they ask hours/days you can work, don't tell them "anytime" because you presume its what they want to hear. tell them the honest days and hours, you're more potential to get the position. Make direct eye contact at adjectives times, even if they look away, it will let them know you are righteous with populace and have angelic communication skills (which is absolutely needed for ANY dept store livelihood, as you'll be asked questions by customers day after day.) Let them know you're happy to hold the oppourtunity to have the interview, and you're thrilled to be there. Also thank them for taking the time to see you. What you wear to the interview is VERY central! for women, try dress pants, a dress shirt, high-ranking heels that are conservitave, NOT slutty/too high. Or a dress, giant heels and pantyhose. Knee lengh skirts, a dress shirt, pantyhose and highheels is the most common. DO NOT WEAR A SHIRT THAT IS SHORT, OR THAT COMES ABOVE YOUR KNEES TO AN INTERVIEW. You want to look conservitave, not slutty. For men..Try some dress pant, a dress shirt and some nice shoes, plain colored, NOT tennies. Or a suit and tie (no, it is NOT too much to wear, you want to look interested, not uninterested, which jeans and a nouns would do.) Don't look at the ground when u walk, look directly surrounded by front of you, or at them. when you sit down, pull the stool out, stand in front, an d verbs the chair beneath you. DON;T SIT AND SCOOT THE CHAIR! IT IS LOUD, ANNOYING AND WILL LET THEM KNOW YOU DON'T HAVE VERY GOOD MANNERS.

you'll be fine. they'll hire you as long as you appear nice and like you won't steal. they also want to formulate sure you will be able to work the hours they necessitate you for.

but don't let them overwork you. when i worked in that they were so horrible to us. they made me stay 'til after 1am even though i be 16 and it was against the regulation and my mom had to skulk outside for me in the saloon (dumb me, i guess). go do your livelihood and be respectful, but don't let them treat you fruitless just because you're infantile.
First of all be confident, not cocky.

Offer a firm grip.

Make great eye contact.

Smile, be happy to be at hand.

Thank them for meeting next to you before you start the interview and again at the finish of the interview.

Offer a business compliment "I've heard this is a great place to work, I'm really contented to be here today...thank you!"

Ask questions. "Are in attendance goals for this position?" "Is near an opportunity for advancement?"

Be prepared with your answers to their typical question like:

Why do you want to work here? (answer: it's a great place, I've hear great things and I want my first job to be bit of a great team.)

Can you work X number of hours a week? (answer: I conjecture I could work that around my schedule, by the channel, what hours are typically offered to someone in this position?)

When can you start? (answer: when would you have need of me to start - never assume a week or next Friday or doesn`t matter what, they might want you to start sooner than that.)

The more questions you ask, the better your intelligence of their expectations. You also will appear very interested within the position - compared to other 16 year olds who just come within - answer a few questions, don't cause great eye contact, offer a clammy, shabby handshake (or none at all) and don't take the job.
