A few suggestions. First you do not discuss your GPA (grade pt avg) but assuming you inferior 5 classes its in the 2.0 length or so. You did not mention if you worked while in university or what not, but I assume you did or partied pretty frozen.
Honestly, with a 2.0 gpa you will enjoy a harder time getting a job so I would not put your GPA on your resume unless it is above a 3.5 (4.0 mortal all A). This might aim some of your interviews, but not as many as dictum you had unpromising grades.
Next, take a concrete look at your resume/CV. Do you describe your achievements? Do you voice what they are in detail?
And how are you marketing yourself? One guy I met surrounded by Chicago and another in Manhattan be out on the street looking for jobs! Both have huge signs made with their CV on them and hand out their CV to people that asked. One played a musical insturament!
How are you looking for the job? Try thinking of all the places that you turn to where the company might hold a position such as yours. Call them! Don't rely on postings as most jobs are not posted and the ones I hold had within the past own NEVER been posted as they clear into six figures.

Someone mentioned Poway -- it's a pleasnt, family-oriented community near great schools. But if you work contained by San Diego, the commute will be tough.
New communities in eastern Chula Vista (Rancho del Rey, Eastlake Village) are gorgeous, (and expensive). And the commute is miserable, so, unless you be working in the South Bay, you'd be have a tough commute.
Pacific Beach is probably the nicest of the local beach neighborhoods within the city. Ocean Beach is where "Almost Famous" be filmed -- it's hip. Sunset Cliffs and Point Loma are nice seaside neighborhoods but very pricey.
Western Clairemont is more attractive than Eastern. Tierrasanta is a thoroughly nice neighborhood. Stay away from Mira Mesa -- just too crowded.
Spring Valley and Rancho San Diego is completely pleasant. North Park is an older neighborhood undergong a revival, as is University Heights (not for families), and South Park. Kensington is wonderful, but expensive.
You really hold to spend a week here and see what is comfortable for you.
