Sorry to hear that you lost your job. But, don't hide away the fact that you lost your available job to your family. It hurts yes and I do agree that its unyielding to find a job now but telling your people and friends they maybe competent to help you find a chore. Ask them if know any places that are hiring or if they have any positions clear where they work. Don't make available up, look at various places, and be flexible, even if the commission is minimal take it anyways so that the money keep on coming in and while doing that atypical job hold on to on looking for another one. Although they won't admit it, some employer will look at it and not hire you for that reason. But if you hold the experience, good work ethic, work history, and reference...you will find something. Those that won't hire on that basis are not a company you want to work for anyways.
