i work in a bakery and wear a apron and i gain covered with sugar, flour, cinnamon sugar, jelly etc and it protect my clothing dutiful enough. I'd vote an apron is good ample for you, its easy to put on and appropriate off within case you requirement to change. The aprons we use within our bakery are white and look pretty kewl but it doesnt matter how they look as long as it keep the dirt from getting on your clothes and skin. Cleaness matters alot but for the most in any working place.
