I did that for 12 years. You will be working 8 hours a day on your foot. You will not have time to converse near the patients unless therefore you work within acute care hospital which is recommended. Stay away from nursing homes. Most places require you to be a CNA previously going up to LVN and RN. My back go out on me after lifting so many patients when I worked surrounded by nursing home and the company didnt care. The acute carefulness pays more and works you less and you hold time to visit patients.
