We have a teletech contained by London, Ontario. I havent worked there but knwo masses people who hold. Here they pay around $15/hr, and although it is inbound calls, it usually involved sale in some channel. I've worked at a couple call centers and within general, here are the pros and cons:
- Decent pay envelope while you're in college or whatever
- Usually flexible hours
- Miserable! You will dread going to work. Trust me.
- Many hold high turnover - if you can't cut it for sale quotias, you get a few likelihood and then they permit you go.
- Overall, it's honest short-term to make some money but I wouldn't hand over up an enjoyable work for this.
