Is it really possible to produce a wearing clothes living as a tangible estate agent contained by a small NorCal town?
Question:I'm interested in shifting careers at 48yrs weak and am considering real estate sale in Red Bluff, CA. What helpful of commission can I expect my first year? Would I receive a salary for any length of time? What hours are generally involved? What training does California require?Answers:
Eeek, Dead Bluff. Hmmm capably being as Red Bluff have a low cost of living compared to other metropolitain California areas, I think you will probably hold more loss than profit the first year. Real estate agents typically work on a straight commision structure, no salary, although some agencies do proposition a draw the first month or so. Being a sucessful real estate agent contained by any market requires an initial investment from the agent. You own to find your own leads, do your own marketing, retribution for your own materials, etc. The pay stale is you get sometimes a 60/40 split on comission next to your agency.
One good point about Red Bluff, is it is not too far from Redding, Corning, Chico, etc, and the property surrounded by those areas usually have acerage. You could even market lots in those areas.
As far as hours, that is to say all up to you. The more flexible you are to the schedule of your potential clients, the more profitable you may be.
Other Answers:
Only if you grew up in the locality and haven't made yourself opponent number one.
Out of town stranger, give it up!
Well, material estate is a pure commission business. If you don't sell, you don't earn any money.
That person said, it's a great way to transition from your regular undertaking, as long as you have some money surrounded by the bank.
I enjoy three realtors in my home, and they all voice the same article. You really have to work for two years earlier you're making good money.
So ponder of it as a part time mission that might eventually become something better.
That depends on your definition of decent. Do you tight-fisted lucrative or ethical?
Lucrative--have absolutely no hypothesis ain't gonna lie to ya wouldn't be prudent at this juncture.
Ethical--it is concrete estate. Nothing is decent within real estate.
Being a actual estate agent is no bowl of cherries. The hours are long, and clients have a route of showing up for appointments late, or sometimes not at adjectives without informing you. Your commision depends on whether the owner of the house give you the "listing". If you get the index, you get 1% of the selling price. If you don"t enjoy the listing to a house you go, your commission is 1/2% of selling price. To sell concrete estate, you have to turn to school, and overhaul the state exam for realtors. The school literally tutor you the state exam. I am not sure that you will receive any salery in add-on to commission, Every realty agancy has its own rules and regulations.

Working as a temp and admin employee at several companies, my experience is that endemically dysfunctional workplaces will try to pick up these Quality Improvement trends as bandaids that will "fix" fundamental problems near management-employee communication, undercompensation and overwork, and out and out abuse.
I'm not maxim that it's not possible, but as next to any sort of "improvement" program (self or otherwise), you kind of hold to *want* to change. And amendment is always harder than these systems tend to promote.
I worked for a company that go through the Continuous Improvement phase. They began over two years ago and they spent millions to move machines and entire product lines. From what I hold seen, it does not work very well (or with set success) in a profession shop environment.
In situations where adjectives your products remain fairly constant , it works enormously well.

Source(s):
International book of.... AS TOLD BY BILLY enough of the silly, commonfolk answers, here's the facts. what do you stingy by "work for yourself" or "work for someone else" ? there is no "always" or "never" answer to this examine. working for yourself could either penny-pinching a minimum wage job at mcdonalds, or millions of dollars within annual salary and benefits as en executive of a company (both of these would be "jobs" within that you would be employed by a company and be paid a net for your work) on the other hand, "working for yourself" could be a sign of being an independent contractor as a daily delivery creature making a few hundred dollars a month, or you could be a high plane consultant with your own firm, making millions every month, or anywhere contained by between. i know many relatives who "work for themselves" in small one-man or storefront operation, who don't set their own hours, who spend 80 hours a week on menial tasks, waste more time on paperwork related to individual a business owner, self employed, or an independent contractor, and make smaller amount money than they could in a similar 40-50 hour a week commission with none of the extra hassle. so the answer depends on what you do, who you are, how much money is to be made, etc. for example, i own lots residential properties such as single family homes, condos, and small multi-units; to be precise my business. i do no physical labor because if anything needs to be done i hire contractors for repairs. i buy and go property, i'm a landlord, and i "work for myself" i breed much more in personal income than most cultured and experieneced proffessionals could ever make as workers of a company, so for me, self employemt is the answer. working for yourself is a very inaccurate and illusive concept; 99% of the time you need alot of money as an intial investment to grasp started in anything you're doing (such as the millions of dollars it would cost if you were to buy adjectives of my property and be in my position) tons factors are involved contained by this decision, and here is no universal answer to your interview; i hope this "answer" leads you within the right direction.

How much do lawyer win remunerated?
Question:Answers:
The true answer (which nobody wants to hear) is Less than you come up with! How much a prosecutor earns vary from state to state, so I'd need more information. In California where on earth wages tend to be high? About 75K +/- depending on how long they've be there. Maybe as much as 100K for a valid senior career guy.
Now a advocate at a big law firm that charges $350 an hour? he probably make about 80K-120K depending on experience. Considering those types of lawyer typically work 2500-2800 hour work years figure an experienced attorney really earns roughly $35-40 an hour. They may charge $350, but they have a great deal of expenses, and a lot of hours they have need of to work that they can't bill for.
If you want to deduct what they have need of to pay on the average 80K contained by student loans they needed to take out to bring back their law point...
100K a year is still a lot of money, don't get hold of me wrong.. but not as much as you'd think considering the hours and the instruction required.
Other Answers:
I'm a lawyer. We get hold of paid profoundly.
alot!!! they can get rich surrounded by a sec! Anywhere from 100.00 to 500.00 per hour. Anything hirer than that is freshly out of my relem of thought.

Alot and Alot, Way too much.
Watch the devils advocate movie, thats what they are adjectives about and why they bring paid so much.
Lawers usally attain paid by the hour around 150-450.oo Private lawyers wage is varied; anywhere from 50 to 5,000 dollars an hour. Some probably get more. Legal Aid lawyers are put on net. That too also varies.
To annswer your cross-examine they make alot of money, and if your devout you make a hella of alot of money.
It depends on the type of attorney and the
firm and how powerfully the attorney performs.
Public attorneys and Service orient attorneys
do not fare as well as those working for big
profile firms with lavish clients. All
lawyers own the idea that they will hold
clients who receive million dollar settlements
and they will get a million dollar share. The
realness is that most will make 70,000 to 125,000
a year.
A prosecutor, i.e., an entry height district attorney probably makes $40K-$50K surrounded by most states. Like all affairs of state salaries, it will turn up slowly but steadily, probably about $2K-$3K per year. Don't overlook benefits, however; most public positions submission excellent benefits (medical, dental, etc.) at little or no cost to the employee, and if you inevitability to cover dependents, this can be worth as much as $10K per year.
