I have a co-worker who, even though he be born and raised contained by Illinois, in the St. Louis metropolitian nouns, has a southern articulation. In addition to this annoying diction, he cannot speak proper english. Some of the words he comes up with sometimes make me want to bust out laughing. He literally sounds like Blue Collar TV except they're doing it to be funny and he's doing it because he's a freaking idiot. He is constantly on the phone calling different creditors to make contribution arrangements and to lie in the order of why a payment hasn't made it, etc. And when he's on the phone, he mumbles. Mumbling, southern, non-english. DRIVES ME INSANE. He have to repeat the things he says sometimes four and five times to be unspoken by whoever on the phone. His wife is an idiotic shrew and I own to listen to him constantly saying surrounded by his sniveling voice, "But Misty" "Don't be like that Misty" "I didn't voice that Misty". It's disgusting. In addition to adjectives the creditor calls, he have to make phone call for his wife. She can't do anything. She was out of work for several days because she be sick but never bothered to call her boss and so she be basically fired. A couple of weeks latter, her husband, my cube neighbor, had to phone her boss to apologize for Misty for not calling in. He in actual fact says to this boss that "Misty is really sorry for not calling you. She's in recent times not real obedient with mortal able to yak on the phone about things" What? And if he's not on the phone, he's get to be talking, or trying to have a chat, to his neighbors. I ignore him. He will ask the most inane, ridiculous question. He's just chitchat to hear himself talk. Ugh! Some days I want to skip over the cube wall and shove the phone or a wad of papers done his throat. Aside from that you hold his EXTREME laziness. He showers once, perchance twice, a week. He's too lazy to shave so instead he's acting similar to he's trying to grow a beard or something. The only problem next to that is that the lone place where fleece grows is on like two separate patch on his second chin. It's disgusting. He's disgusting. His wife is disgusting. I've actually consider looking for another livelihood just because I can't stand listenting to him and looking at him.

Oh my, I have satisfactory stories from my circus workplace to start my own website. The bottom line is that folks aren't going to change. Just save your chin up and do one hour of "resume therapy" daily (update your resume and look for job, network near people). I work in East Providence. It is true what the other poster said, it is unyielding to find parking. The city is nice, they have redo everything. There is Waterfire and now a big arts and music scene, so when you return with off of work at hand are a bunch of things to do. They are guting the old buildings and rebuilding them near lofts. The streets are full of potholes because of the winters, but the city is a fun city to live and work in.

If you are looking at working in a Call Center, I would not argue against it. I would suggest that you find a good startup and try to grow near them into managerial positions. DO not maintain skipping jobs for small hikes contained by salary.
I did that, I coupled a good startup and near committed work, I wound up managing the center after just 5 years. I be also doing a MBA simultaneously. This way, I have both theoretical and practical exposure to organization.
