They are your boss! I guess they could but later you might want to sue them for infriging upon your right to "bear arms?" J/K right to free speech. However, not a soul is forcing you to work there so it may not work. (I'm excluded to have distinct tatoos in my work either).
This is a good time to utter though that tattoos are not the brightest of ideas. Not because I don't resembling them but because of the social stigma still attached to them.
