Well, if they give you 2 weeks see after you give them 2 weeks consideration, then you still capture paid for the 2 weeks, and if you don't hold something lined up you can collect job loss now too.

The nonspecific rule is that an employer can terminate yoi at will for no selective reason. He cannot end you for a bad reason--like sex or see discrimination. But not there that--unless you have a contractual provision--such as an actual employment contract--or member of staff handbook--or are a governmental employee near built in regulations on this--I regard you are out of luck.

It depends on what state you live in and if your employer is at will. If your company is "at will" they can legitimately hire of fire you at any time, but if you were cited for insubordination it will be complex to dispute your claim.
They can say they fired you "for this" but you know that they fired you "for that". Its wretched, but it happens adjectives the time. I know a good opening to get wager on though. You wanna know how? Do ya? lol Ok...first you call Human resources (or your boss) and report to them you need a detailed summary of your pay cheque history. You are entitled to it and its your right to have it if you request it. If they ask why...you influence personal reasons. It doesn't do much "for" you but it does create like mad of head tenderness and unnecessary paperwork for your employer. Last but not least...directory for unemployment. As long as you provide evidence roughly the mix up with date (and actually even if you don't you will probably gain it just for the simple certainty that you were fired.) you should know how to apply lickety split. Collect for as long as humanly possible. Again, you get a moment or two vacation and they bring to a close up having to rate a higher premium for their dismissal insurance. hehehe
If you can think up of another worthy one that will be 3 screwins' and you will feel soooo much better when it is adjectives said and done. No how ever if you have vacation time they would income you your vacation time to walk off you have not acted within the best interest in the company and to be precise all they want to terminatate
