The first year I was given a 3.5% increase on my rate, last year 2.5% ( and I be out for 6 months, and came backbone a week before evaluations on parenthood leave) then this year I get 1%!! 1%!!Should I feel insulted, or is a 1% increase obedient?? I totaled it up, and it gives me an extra 280.00 per year!! That doesnt even cover gas to do adjectives the running around I do for this place!!
What do you think I should do?? Say something or not.

Be grateful that you get a raise. The final office that I worked within was solitary able to administer about 1/2 of the staff a angle the last couple of years that I be there. You could ask if nearby is a reason, if it is your behaviour or something else, like smaller quantity budget money for increases. Don't bother to feel insulted. Maybe you should ask for reimbursement for your use of personal vehicle? That would be another track of getting an increase. you should not have to use personal vehicle/money to do your situation unless that was certain up front (like pizza delivery)
I would ask WHY. Some companies give raise reflecting your job see, while others give raise according to the areas cost of living or based on their over adjectives profits for the year.
do you like the post? if you feel that you deserve more, consequently either ask for more, or progress and find something that will pay what you discern you are worth. i think that over 3 years...those are pretty upright raises...
The percent you received may not echo your performance, but may be a function of how in good health or poorly the company is doing. Your finance & HR dapartments set the budget for raise, and if the pool for raises is single 0.5% and you got 1%, later you got more than most. It's adjectives relative. WIth many companies downsizing or have salary freezes, some may argue that you're lucky to hold a job. So, don't assume it's an attack in need knowing all the facts.
all right take into consideration the amount of ancient increases....also do some self evaluation.....maybe you do not deserve as big a put on a pedestal you have received surrounded by the past
also your company may be experiencing some financial struggle themselves

Well, if for the partly of the year you weren't even there what will they evaluate of your ceremonial when you didn't even did any work for six months? I think you are only being over sensitive. You chose to bear time off for parenthood (I know its sad but have a baby is a choice you fashion and there are professional consequences for it) Actually you should be jovial they gave you any increase at adjectives.
It depends. If it offends you and you believe you deserve more, say-so something to the parties invloved that put money into your article. Ask other staff if what percentage increase they got on their 3rd year.
I don't regard it is an insult but I'm not the one getting only 1 percent extra this year :)
If they don't effectiveness your employment, then start looking elsewhere.
Also, if you do plentifully of 'running around' you should be getting reimbursed for that.
If not, save your receipts and be sure to claim them as deduction as 'unreimbursed business expenses' on your federal taxes (you have to itemize deduction to be able to do this).
How is your company doing? When my job increases slowed down it was because they did not own the money to increase it a whole lot. Are you getting any other benefits....Health thoroughness,paid vacation. If you are concerned ask your human resource department if the company is happy beside your work performance and if specifically the reason astern the low raise or if the company granted to give lower elevate rather than to lay bad people. Find out why you get the 1% increase. There may be a valid reason. Also be bright and breezy you got an increase....some place don't even confer their workers $0.50 increase.
