~~i guess your best bet would be to carry your basic classes out of the road, and while you are doing that, take an introductory class to respectively specialty you are interested in. this will offer you a better background of requirements, as respectively major that you are looking at is within a completely different direction. me, i am not good near numbers, and the tho't of sitting all time is not appealing. I do enjoy helping society and there is particularly little that can grose me out, so i would prob. choose nursing. also, as long as there are sick relations they are going to need nurses. some daytime computers may take over adjectives accounting aspects, so if you choose to be an accountant, be sure to get a scope in computers as resourcefully. I wouldn't choose a decriminalized assistant. Legal assistants get treated similar to crap by lawyers who are full of themselves and regard that they are smarter than anyone else in the world (I would know, I go to law school).
Those are a pretty broad set of choices. Tell us more just about yourself. Are you a pretty broad?

Also look around within other areas. Try the humanities (history, philosophy, english, psychology, etc.). Just explore a bit. You never know what you might find. I just finished my first year of college, and I haven't chosen a primary yet -- but I've be doing some browsing around, and I really liked a few of the classes I took this year.

Remember, you don't enjoy to choose a major as soon as you enter college! You've get a year or two to make up your mind... and even consequently, you can always modification your major.
right immediately, when I look through the employment ads....nearby are so many opportunity for accounting. That is a good trade path, you can kind a good living here. Of course, there is other a demand for RN's...you will probably trade name less than you would as an accountant...but will hold a much larger variety of job available to you...and if you are going to be a legal assistant...approaching a paralegal, you can find a good post...but why not just walk to law academy?
Usually go near your heart and desire. Even though they all take-home pay something. I would suggest taking a career assessment exam to analyze your top interest. You can take these at colleges or workforce centers. Also, if pay is the case after try the website below to find what employers are paying surrounded by different areas. Question:* I want a job really discouraging
*Jobs are fun and I love to get rewarded for them

Answers:
Babysit. But get CPR certified first ( CPR for both infants and adults) so you can be prepared for any emergency that could arise while babysitting and this will also help you negotiate a sophisticated pay rate than someone who is not CPR certified. It is usually a 1 day-8 hour class beside a written test and skills portion. It isn't too difficult for a 13 year frail to pass any.Sometimes the YMCA or american heart association offer babysitting citations classes which teach you skills to abet you while babysitting.

Other Answers:
Babysit. You may laugh at first, but surprisingly satisfactory babysitting will pay greatly more than most minimum wage jobs that are available for teenagers.
ably the easiest way would be to beseech your family but infant sit is good or unusual jobs around your neighborhood.
u enjoy to be at least 14 to capture a real opportunity litteraly the only available job u can get when u r 14 is to work at chick fli a but u can resembling baby sit kids if u resembling kids or like do stuff around the house for money
There's really not much you can do at 13. Most places you cannot rightfully work at such a young age, so you're pretty ably stuck babysitting. However, while you do that, it may be wise to read into how to run money, handle financial situations, and most of adjectives, accquire good spending conduct. If you can get these things at a childish age, once you start making a lot of money, you'll know how to turn it into even more.

So the best way? Probably babysitting for your parents friends or the similar to.
you have to be 14 to babysit justifiably. so you could do extra choirs. if you know how to do hair afterwards do peoples hair.
Sell your elderly toys on ebay!
It depends. You will most likely not know how to find a job at 13, not justifiably anyway. If your into business try opening a website. It will dispense you hands on experience almost starting a website. You can even make it an online store if you want (with your parents help out ofcourse). You will need to research products and find distributors who market them. You will need your parents comfort and support since you will have to wages for services and products.
I was doing business research since I be 12 and I'm now running a successful online store. It took me years of trial and error to finally take to this point but it's all worth it. I put together more now and enjoy alot more free time than when I was working for another company.
Anyway, don't be discouraged. I be the same when I be your age. Try making a lemonade stand or selling homemade crafts. It's also a good theory to start selling on eBay. Hope this helps.
Happy New Year!!

employment interview for best buy, any tips? thanx!!?

Question:I never worked before so I own no experience.
any tips would be great! (applied for sales associate)any "do's" and "don'ts"
thankfulness! :)

Answers:
Always follow "the four P's of interviewing":

1. Preparation.
2. Practice.
3. Personal presentation.
4. Pertinent questions.

Preparation

It's really frustrating for an interviewer to enjoy someone that they're talking to who really doesn't know the company or the position they're applying for.

beforehand you interview, you should have looked at the Web site, read the company's brochure, and talk to people who've worked near. If you haven't done that, it can really make it mortified in the interview, because any you're not going to understand what the interviewer's conversation about, or you're going to ask some dumb question.

Another thing is not really preparing for the interview itself. You should sit down and devise, 鈥榃hat are they going to ask me when I'm in that interview?' With for a time bit of asking around, you can find out things like, do they use behavior-based question, do they use case-based questions, do they use a really unstructured conversational interview?

Practice

Through preparation, you can normally anticipate the kinds of question -鈥?if not the exact ones -- you'll be asked during interviews. Once you've determined the probable question, practice in front of someone.

Personal Presentation

Dress appropriately. Don't show up wearing a coat when a suit would be more fitting. If you do wear the right tie or suit, clear sure you are well-presented. Don't be wrinkled or dirty. Doing your homework should reveal the appropriate attire.

Be sure to cover all the standard interviewing etiquette points as ably. Be familiar next to the basics -- approaching a good greeting. Make sure to have prime eye contact; a lot of individuals put a lot of immensity into eye contact. Maintaining that is really impressive.

Pertinent Questions

It's really bad surrounded by interviews to get to the failure and they say, 鈥楧o you own any questions I can answer for you?' and you right to be heard, 鈥楴ope, I think you answered them adjectives,' and that's the end of it. It's reflect negatively on you.

Ask a really difficult question -- something that take some guts to ask, asking really well-thought-out questions that shows you know the business that that interviewer is surrounded by. It all go back to preparation, and it tell the interviewer you thought about this interview previously you walked contained by the door.

Other Answers:
Dress properly. Be 5 minutes early. When you shake hand,
look them in the eye and smile. Do not use any slang words.
Never read aloud "er, um, you know, like, doesn`t matter what, etc." Stand
up straight. And most of all, believe contained by yourself.
GOOD LUCK!! YOU CAN DO IT!
Hey man I'm only 19, so I figure out the first interview jitters. I had to move about through them just a couple years ago. My best proposal is be relaxed, and give complete answers, and dont voice "um". If you are nervous and stutter they arent gonna hire you, so u might as economically play it cool.
don't wear cologne. wear a scented seoderant instead. other smile.
don't lie, only tell the truth. be your self.
You may want to try this: http://interview.monster.com/archives/attheinterview/ or http://jobsearch.almost.com/od/interviews/

If you mess up, try: http://www.recruit2hire.com/bad-job-interview.html
Dress professionally. Be prepared. Know a few things about the company from their trellis site, and the products they sell. Look the interviewer within the eye, shake hands, smile, and express interest within the job.
Source(s):

http://www.bestbuy.com/
Sales associate? You'll be dealing near the public. Show the interviewer you can handle the public. How?

Definitely dress professionally.
As said since, avoid slang.
Better to think silently than say-so 'ummm', 'ahhh', errr'
SMILE!
When you shake hands, use a firm grip.
HAVE QUESTIONS READY! Interviews usually train with, "Do you enjoy any questions?" "umm, ahh, no not really" sounds pretty impossible.
Let's think. Maybe some along the lines of,
"Do you hold further training opportunities for topical product lines?"
"Will I be limited to one specific area or will I hold the chance to cram and expand my areas?"

Little trick I learned. Ask this during the interview if you enjoy a chance.
"What do you devise are the three most important intrinsic worth for a sucessful associate?" Listen to him carefully! Later contained by the interview, bring up the three things and how they apply to you! Works like a charm. Practice next to your parent or buddies if you want to.

Be yourself!

Best of luck. Post back and tolerate us know how it went!
Easy, anyone an employee near I can easily aid you.

First off show up a few minutes untimely and dress up in close to slacks and a colored shirt. You can overdo it if you want but really, it doesn't matter.

Second bad is be confident in what you read aloud to the interviewer and to make virtuous eye contact. Be friendly too but don't be too loose as to where it seem like you don't thinking.

When it comes to selling here's a hint...the first couple questiosn you ask them should not be give or take a few the product but about their lifestyle resembling (what's ur name, who will be using this porduct, what will this product be used for) and also on the greeting read out welcome to Best Buy, what brings you surrounded by today.

When it comes to talking give or take a few shrink, tell them that you would first put on alert the associate and then you report them for stealing.

And if you don't return with the position you want just help yourself to what they offer you as within is a lot of flexibility to move around contained by the store.

Good luck....and what store are you applying for?
