I jumped right into bartending. I loved it!! I have the protection of the bar next to a handy baseball bat on my side and a couple abnormally considerable bouncers on the other. I was the boss. If someone get lippy with me I merely ignored them until their attitude changed. Being a cocktail waitress (did that too) be awful. I cannot tell you how several times people would take hold of me or how many times I get caught in the middle of a row just because I happen to be at the right place at the wrong time. A good bartender will step people by watching what they drink and not innards them up too quickly. You put up for sale more this way and everyone have a better time.
