I don't know if you have an Sonic's around you, but i.e. a great job and they usually hire ancestors that are 15. It's better there than McDonalds or BK b/c you win an hourly rate (it's really low) but you get tips, so it works out to be some pretty worthy money. I wish I have know about it when I be that age!
Fast food restaurants are usually pretty lenient. Shop Rite(if you own one near you, I'm from NJ too), hires at 15. They won't discharge you much but it's three hour shifts as a cashier for minimum wage. Pretty uncomplicated job.
