Fun things are what people do of late for the heck of it. Because it makes them discern good. A mission is done to support a household. The "something" is no longer carefree and only for fun when it becomes a charge.
I don't know, but I have experienced it. I be an avid quiltmaker, made one for every baby surrounded by the church practically. Loved it! Until...I took on a commissioned piece. I was allowed to chose the fabric and the design, but it still took me ten times longer and felt resembling drudgery every time I got it out. Something roughly someone else expecting and waiting wasn't as fun as the joy of giving freely.

I don't believe this is other true. But some reasons this does sometimes begin in practice:
1) When you do something as a hobby in that is no pressure to get it done, but when it's your commission there are usually deadline.
Usually there is also a tolerant amount of reporting to be done to keep control up to date on your progress. That reporting, which in itself can be relatively boring, might take up a significant amount of your time on the opening.
2) When you do something for your own enjoyment, you do it the road you see fit. When you are doing it for your employer, they set the standards. The standards may either be lower than what you would enjoy set and may make the chore boring because it wasn't as challenging as what you similar to to do (example: someone who loves to work on cars and enjoyed souping up their cars for lofty performance as a hobby, in a minute works at an auto maintenance shop doing routine repairs, varying oil, etc.), or the standards may be high than what you would have set and may variety the job boring because it is more complicated or involved than what you enjoy (example: someone who casually enjoy playing music as a hobby goes into it professionally, and finds that they own to deal next to but don't really enjoy music theory). Sometimes it isn't a ask of higher or lower standards, but of late using the same skills for different purposes that don't inspire you as much (examples: someone who enjoy cooking their favorite food: Mexican, now working as a chef contained by a French restaurant - they use the same skills, but it freshly doesn't make them as glowing; an artist who always loved to draw, immediately using those skills to work on advertisements - it's still drawing, but it isn't what they really want to draw).
