Build trust with your workforce is the best way. You don't hold to be involved with everything, but as long as you follow up on matter with them, show them your trust worthiness, they'll get going to tell you what's really going on. Show them you really comfort and do something about the situation, otherwise they'll stop comunicating.
Don't resort to spying on your team, at least not if you want to be on their upright side. I suppose it really depends on your management style. If you're more more or less winning heart and minds and "leading" rather than "managing" after that isn't the route you want to take. If you're more strict and authoritarian, next that might work to keep tab on whats going on but you'll be micro-managing and mostly end up alienating ancestors and reducing morale. But you'll be in charge, right?

6)Apply on Monday and Tuesday mornings, except restaurants do the after lunch application. You want to touch the boss when he/she is available to talk and worried going on for the schedule. Friday at 5 Pm is usually not productive.

If they say "required" consequently it is almost impossible that they'll consider you. If they say something is a "plus" afterwards it doesn't disqualify you if you don't have it, but it puts you ahead of the others if you do.
And I don't recommend trying to get hold of jobs that you're not qualified for. I would enjoy to say no, because I've never kept a friendship next to someone that I've worked with on a regular cause. However, I've had long occupancy associates but these ppl are not technically friends per se. I was also intensely hurt by a former co-worker who happened to be an elder lady...approximately 60 yrs. of age. She befriend me when I was promoted to a supervisor and we hung out at work solitary because she was a appendage of the leadership troop. However, I was ultimately terminated from that company b/c I reported wrong behavior and discrimination so the company turned on me and I be terminated. This particular so call friend at the time, seemed concerned for me and call me everyday until I went to an atty. to report a wrongful termination/discrimination/inv... of medical privacy suit against the company at hand. This so call friend was also african-american and figure that she'd jump on the bandwagon and shift find herself an atty. although still employed by the company and try to sue for discrimination b/c she saw the documents that I have and figured I'd be a oblige to her in command to sue and gain a hefty settlement. To make a long story short after I told her one dark on the phone that I wasn't discussing anything further with her concerning my legitimate case per the suggestion of my atty. .....well, she stopped calling and I haven't spoken to her since. Makes me discern that she was simply a snitch and definitely not a true friend so I will never allow myself to become super close to someone at work and I hang on to all of my business to myself and merely discuss work while working.

Tpyically, but not always, a Project Leader is more technically focused that a Project Manager and/or is smaller amount senior / has smaller number authority. Purely in expressions of future resume-appeal, I would as a consequence go beside the Project Manager position.
Having said that, given the choice between a position at an HQ, and a position at a branch I would go near the HQ. I would expect it would be more likely to be involved surrounded by more strategic cross-company projects, which would be more interesting to me. You'd also be exposed to more of the key players contained by the organization - high-status if you're looking to move ahead.
Since the HQ position is with a multi-national one would anticipate that travel might be required at some point as projects are plausible to involve other locations. That can be good or discouraging depending on your situation.
