I be an EMT on a rig for 2 years on a 911 provider ambulance in So CAL., it be the best experience of my life. I saw oodles things that people would up and run from. But it served to put together me a mature, ambitious, responsible individual efficient of leading a troop of EMT's or a corporate meeting.
What you do;

The wages sucks, you make your money on OT but it open a lot of doors for me, currently I work per diem contained by a hospital as a tech, and full time as a EHS coordinator. You can't pay to draw from that type of experience.

What testimonial are required of a "consultant" ?
Question:I know the definition of consult, but what exactly does a paid consultant do for their customers and why are they employed? Consultant and "consulting firm" seem to be a rather non-descriptive designation for a business.Answers:
Frankly, I think that's purposeful. In my business, consultants are a big part of it, commonly brought in as "experts" contained by a particular grazing land. They all strike me as family who decided they be smart enough to vend all their brilliant design to others. They make most of their decision with little thought of your local marketplace, whip all the credit when you succeed, and blame poor execution when you fall through. They are often forced on us by higher-ups looking for some "rapid fix" to a problem better solved more methodically.
There are many brilliant culture who are likely benefitting their field by making their expertise more widely available. I just haven't run into adjectives that many.
Other Answers:
Depends on the area. It usually helps to a credentials in the demanding field or nouns of expertise. The bottom line, is that you are a consultant if you are consulting. Whether or not you are dutiful or are offering good counsel is up to you...
It depends on the field you are consulting on and who you are providing the expert information for. For example, if you are a business consultant you most plausible you will have to own an appropriate degree, seriously of work experience in that paddock, as well as great reference. In addition, you may own to have novel experience in the pasture. So for example, you may have an MBA and like mad of good work experience but for a selective job may enjoy to speak a foreign language or hold special records. The Consultancy Services business (IT) I work for bids for software projects by providing a design plan and if won, completes the project on-site, at our office, or off-shore. We also provide staffing for mixed software projects.

is it right for an employer to fire someone when that character have a doctors appointment?
Question:Answers:
Depends on where you work, and if your appointment be an emergency. Also depends on the fine print when you signed your application or any other documents. Even a statement on your application such as "_______ co. reserves the right to ________...., by signing you agree to all expressions and conditions of employment at _________ co." can bind you to all kind of rules that you dont know about unless you request adjectives of the literature and actually read it.
You can't newly bring a note and be excused, this isnt giant school. employer can fire you for basically any intention, provided it isnt a reason base on discrimination. Even if they want to fire you because of a prejudice (such as race), they will simply wait for you to engender a mistake then use that one mistake contained by the report as your reason for human being fired. And you cant dispute it because you cant prove otherwise.
For a lot of places, unless its a energy or death emergency, if your skiving isnt pre-approved (24 hours in finance usually), then it is counted as a no-show, regardless of whether you call. At plenty of places I've worked the handbook clearly states that after 3 unapproved or unexcused absence, it constitutes strict disapline (such as suspension) or termination of employment.
Dont even try to go to court, you arent probable to win. Even if you do win, you will most likely just win enough to money off your legal representative, cuz it will take such a long time to win. Especially next to large corporations, which usually enjoy several lawyers and copious loopholes in your employment contract to draw from them out of just such a situation.
Other Answers:
Can you prove you have one? Depends on the state laws and the corporation.
not if your brought a doctors register. as long as you werent lying. no thats rediculous! health comes formerly anything including work, and if your job wasnt competent to understand that i be you i'd bring it to corporate and make a big promise out of it while looking for another job substitute...good luck
It's depend!! If the app is key and can't be postpponed then it's nor right, but if it it's one and only for dermatologist..hmm... it can be done in anytime.
may be no.it is not right..but it depends on which state you are surrounded by if they can. like here surrounded by nevada, they have the right to abandon you for any or for no reason at adjectives. isnt that fucked up? depends on if you had a drs appt and your history near the job. If they fired you they must of have a valid reason...and if you know you had to work why programme a drs appt the same light of day?
Absolutely not. If the doctor will verify that appointment and it was the drive for missing work, that employer had no grounds to fire any worker base on absence due to bug! Speak to an attorney or to a union representative.
Could at hand have be another reason why the member of staff was fired?

Why do nation vote for union to represent them at present?
Question:Unions were originate a long time ago with the purpose of come to blows for fair wages, not detrimental work environments, etc. Not to get rich and run companies out of business. Nowadays, we enjoy government standards. Minimum wages, OSHA, etc. So what does a alliance offer today? For instance, these stupid auto architect unions and the idiots who vote for them? When they win and seize some increase in discharge, more health benefits, etc, the company with the sole purpose counters by cutting the remarkably jobs of the folks who voted for the union. And they cut the element of parts, salaries of designers and engineers (bringing within poorer quality engineers, losing the moral ones, etc).
This in turn amounts to decreasing sale, which leads to more brief cuts to cover the losses. Hence, a vicious circle.
Workers of America, pull your head out of your arses and work for a living. You'll thank yourself tomorrow when you still have a charge, and the union hasn't bankrupt the company who writes your checks and pays your bills.
Answers:
People vote for unions because they present the a sense of security. They are competent to identify themselves with some form of group.
In the genuine sense, unions basically exploit these workers they claim to protect further. For instance a loan obtained from the unuion make the worker pay hindmost almost twice as as much as was advanced to him and however this very worker contributes to the league every month!
Other Answers:
Well put.
They had their place contained by the past, but presently it's just extortion.
answer: the union have power over the companies AND their member.
Source(s):
layed off GM worker, liable to work for less. profoundly of harm have been done by the misuse of coalition power that has given union a bad label
but in a rampantly capitalist freemarket reduction the owners of capital and park need to exploit the employment of those without within order to maximise profits. so near is a clear need for a appliance to protect the rights and interests of the workers If anyone would be telling you that have 9to5 job is protected and you`ll never lose it - you`ll know that`s not true. And why they keep voting for union? Well, they just do what they consider they must do.
The problem with in our day Companies is they are facing challenges (in informational age - though they contemplate that they are still in industrial age). And they never thought that surrounded by Harvard - how to overcome challenges and hold on to growing - in other words MAKE MONEY. Many companies a short time ago follow apart and new contemporaries takes over. And in the future just voting for union is not very popular anymore - things alter. Unions are government protected labor monopolies. When we look at them as such we see the devastating effect they can own on the economy. Unions increase the cost of produce, the higher settle up they extort is passed on to consumers who are in effect subsidizing the confederation. Unions increase unemployment, as the cost of labor go up employers compensate by hiring/retaining a reduced amount of workers. Unions reduce the competitiveness of the US workforce, employer have little incentive to verbs operating in this nation beside unions driving up the cost of labor. Finally union reduce US productivity, union make it harder to call off inefficient workers and harder to hire more efficient workers who do not earnings union dues.

What do you adjectives presume more or less anyone a flight steward of an international airline?
Question:I am looking for a career and i would close to to be a flight steward with a flawless airline. I want to hear what do you all expect about this livelihood?Answers:
Well I am a long haul flight attendant for a focal airline - and I absolutley love it! Different airlines have different standards when it comes to hiring crew. Some airlines are more undue than others however a good airline will hire someone base on merits rather than looks and age. I be 20 when recruited. In my intake I have people of adjectives shapes, sizes, ages, sexuality, religion, backgrounds - the schedule goes on.
Although not required to do any of the following they may be of an help - you may want to look at taking a short course in holiday home crew (to show your interested and serious), working in the food and beverage industry (which is one of your primary functions onboard after safety), or study a 2nd speech (I speak Japanese and get give or take a few an extra $500 of year because of this)
It's definately are very prestigous employment and when walking through the terminal everyone just looks at you - it's an amazing awareness. Most people that travel know that becoming a flight attendant is not comfortable. more than 500 people applied and lone 30 were elected at my intake.
Not only are we waiter and cleaners, but nannys, policemen, firefighters, good listeners, entertainer, mechanics, plumbers, medics and most importantly are able to relief evacuate a plane in an emgergency, which is the segment of the training which takes the most. There is an 80% go by mark for test and practicals when it comes to emergency procceduers and we are tested every 6 months.
Career wise within is plently of career progress. You start of as an cutback attendant - but don't think business class is out of make, I was also trained within business. From there you can become a unswerving Business Class and first class attendant which means you will 99% of the time work contained by these cabins unless call out of catergory. From there you can become a second senior, consequently a supervisor, then a proprietor. you could also become a trainer. You may decide to be invloved near many of the companies programs to develop better technique on board.
I cram dozens of new things everytime I fly. From other crew and the passenger. I might learn almost a different city or why a governmentt has introduced a unsullied policy. you'll also encounter many situations on the bus - some make you screech and some will be a test of guise. My favorite though is dealing with passenger that don't speak english. It's great fun trying to get the message to them such as what do you want to drink or sorry we've run out.
In regard to perks every airline have different perks. Although my airline doesn't offer free tickets (and can't imagaine many that do) We seize unlimited travel at nearly 95% off the price - Not doomed to failure. As a flight attendant your travelling to different places and getting to stay there surrounded by 5 star hotel
This is airline specific but I work on averaged over a 2 month period the equivlent of smaller amount than 4 hours a day. And I capture plently of days off not just home but of course overseas.
Of course in attendance are a few downsides. You will miss birthdays etc. but that just mode you have to gather when you get hindmost - And you'll probably give better presents too that you've sourced from you adventures in a foreign country.
So in conclusion - I love my livelihood and if you have the opportunity to apply for an airline - Just try - you never know your luck and hope you catch to be part of a outstandingly exiciting industry!!
Other Answers:
It sure would be an inexpensive way to see the world!! Sure why not?!
I used to drive a big rig, and sometimes I would stir up and not know witch state I was within.
I used to fly quite frequently and those poor stewards looked hammer, especially by the end of the flight. (Some looked hit before the flight took off).
Most be so friendly, professional, and courteous.
The next time you fly (if you do) you might want to ask the stewards what they close to the most about their job and what they like the lowest possible, and ask more than just one. That might bequeath you an idea or moral advice as to what it's approaching being a steward.
Cool.... You can travel and see dazzling part adjectives over the world--for free!! It sounds like a great errand although a very rugged industry to get into. About a year ago immediately, i applied for the position of flight attendant with a quantity of companies. I got interviews beside Qantas and Virgin Blue but was unsuccessful near both airlines so i kept applying. Then i was asked posterior to Virgin for another interview which also turned out to be unsuccessful.... I am enormously happy beside the job i own at the moment but i continue to apply for these positions as you never know what will arise down the track! I say move about fo it, and if god forbid you are unsuccessful keep trying as it will prove to them that you are razor-sharp.
Note: Most airlines tend to employ staff surrounded by their mid 20s or older, don't know why and it sucks as i am one and only 22.
Good Luck & hope all works out for you!
