But I could not establish to be a painter, author or a perfume bottle designer.

We entail teachers... anyone can try to be a rock singer but few fashion it. You can always use your devotion for rock music while teaching. Teaching might not pay cheque as much but it is much more rewarding in the long run.

My experience after plentiful years of working:

Typically most companies will give their non-exempt (hourly, not salaried employees) two salaried 15 minute breaks during an 8 hour work day. A lunch break is usually offered but is not compensated. So in other words if you embezzle a 1/2 hour lunch you would be expected to work an 8.5 hour workday to make up for the 1/2 hour you took for your lunch.

If after a little and they haven't completed anything or very little, I would let somebody know them to pick up their slack or you would be taking this to the manager. well, you don't want to piss bad your coworker by snitching on him, even though he deserves it. what i would is tell my boss that i hold finished with my side of the assignment and that you will cojoin beside your coworker to finalize when he finishes his part of the assignment. suggest if he wishes to get this project finished immediately that he might want to check on your coworkers progress.
leave it up to your boss to find out your coworker is slacking. he will realize this if he checks and finds out the coworker is far astern when you have already finish. i agree that this is totally unreasonable and your coworker needs a see in the butt, but agree to your boss be the kicker that way no blame can or should trickle on you.
