Unfortunately the available job market is concerned of a catch-22 when it comes to just starting out. You own two basic option for finding a job.
1) Send your resume out through every livelihood agency you can find (Yahoo! HotJobs, Monster) and start applying for every Marine Biology post you can find. It would also help if you could catch your resume in near some headhunters... Adecco and PCI are two I know of, though the later might be only just a technical staffing firm.
2) Find some course to pad your resume. If you can't catch work experience, get something comporable. Certifications are one process to impress a prospective employer, if there are any that apply to naval biology, or you could go rear legs to school for a more advanced point and try to work in an internship or TA/RA/GA-ship through the college.

Question:I am college student who needs to try and receive some good money over the summer. As much as I can. I own the opportunity to counsel at a youth summer camp surrounded by upstate New York for 9 weeks and make roughly $1500. The nice portion is that I won't have any expenses except souveniers and splitting a motel room for weekend trips to if I want call on NYC or Albany or Lake Placid or somewhere. Well this depends on where you live. I budge to school here surrounded by San Diego and instead of going home I am going to stay here and work at Sea World or the baseball stadium.
