I'm 22 years old, and I still own the same problem. I focus most companies have a problem near young folks because of experience. If anyone knows what young-looking people can do nearly this let me know! I own a lot of skills in a minute, but hardly any one requirements to hire me still. And I work just as frozen as everyone else!
Not only that, but if you are beneath 18, you're sol unless you can find a fast food restaurant or telemarketer that will hire you. And those job SUCK!! I refuse to work at those places! REFUSE!!! The solitary reason why I took up a hurriedly food restaurant last year is because I be pregnant, and I didn't think any one would hire me that offered a really suitable job, and I didn't see any point within getting a good work if I was working for a couple of months more.
Even if you turn 18, you're still going to struggle next to a really good commission. I think it's going to be this style until you either turn 30 or you attain a whole lot of skills. And you do this by going to school--college, grown schools, etc. There are also employment programs such as WIA and Career Services Center that will serve you look for a job, and put you through training and college.
Not only that, but I revulsion fast food and telemarketing job soooooooooo bad that I wait until I was 18 to look for a brief.

For institution, there's Digipen but that's a 4 year committment. There's also Full Sail in Florida (it's advertise in the gaming magazines) and they enjoy a 21 month Bachelor degree program. Other than that, I'd recommend your fiance to write their own games on their own to gain experience or try to find a extremely small start-up gaming company who might forgo video game experience and may freshly require computer programming experience instead.
