Some companies move EXTREMELY slowly.
Often, they fill the position internally or lose their budget.
Keep calling. It doesn't hurt, only just shows you're interested.
Sometimes they'll leave you baggy and you'll hear later: "Oh, no that position have been closed" Keep calling.
Keep contained by contact, but I don't recommend calling excessively. E-mail is best, but don't just ask what's going on. Repeat your interest within the job and how hoping you are to start.

Why don't guests tip maids at hotels?
Question:I just stumbled upon some Q&A here roughly leaving tips for housekeepers at hotels. Most speak that tipping is the appropriate thing to do, but since working as a housekeeper at a immense golf resort for the past month, the one and only "tip" I've come across was a handful of pennies not here on top of a small screen. This is not a cheap hotel, some rooms cost more than $500 per night, and still it seem no one can come up next to a buck or two for a tip. And yes, I provide good service for the guests. I verbs stayover rooms almost as if it were a checkout.Answers:
My rule of thumb is that if I stay only one night, I don't tip as housekeeping is included within the cost of the room. If I stay more than one night, I tip $1 per personality per day if the maid have provided good service. I believe several people don't realize you should tip maids basically like plentiful other service providers, especially if the service was exceptional. I can't speak for everyone, but I truly appreciate a verbs room and sufficient towels!
