I'm within the National Guard, and have to shine my boots once a month and two weeks during the summer. Our clandestine is to use KIWI brand polish. Also you need to work it contained by good next to the applicator and give it time to dry stale.(ussually the time it takes to apply polish to the other boot) When buffing,use a righteous quality soft brush and scarcely touch the boot or shoe in a fast back and forth motion.
Another point I did when I was contained by AIT was to bear them into the boot shine guy,and after he polished them, he used a sealer thaat made them to where you could almost see your care. I guess once you get a suitable base on them, everything afterward is assured.
Some boots/shoes don't polish up too well any. I have one double act of combat boots that, no matter how much time I spend on them, they look nowhere as apt as my first pairs from Basic. They are a different brand.
