I recently fixed SMC about 4 months ago. I own not made one professional sale nonetheless because I am still working on my website, but have done a LOT of research on it (when I utter a LOT, I mean A LOT). I DON'T do door to door; flea market; networking.
1) Everybody and their grandmother AND their dogs' put on the market SMC Products.
2) DON'T sell on eBay - you will lose your insertion allowance because you WON'T sell the product; however, if by some miracle - you do put up for sale a product on eBay, your profit will be minute. By minute - I mean below $1.00 (not enough to cover the insertion fee).
3) This is only a personal opinion, but don't buy SMC's web-hosting service. It is STRICTLY for their products. They do allow some slots for your own personal products, but it isn't that tons. It will cost you between $500 - $2500 for them to make your website through SMC (depending on how plentiful of their products you want to put on "your" website at a time). If you decide SMC is not for you, the money you payment for the website (from my understanding) is NOT refundable. Look for other SMC websites (they are NOT hard to find) - lately put in a product description from the info you get in the correspondence and a million will pop up - you can tell the SMC produced websites because they are 'cookie cutter' websites. They adjectives have impossible to tell apart flavour to them. BUILD YOUR OWN WEBSITE. It is against company policy to pay someone else (that isn't the SMC's site builder) to build, host, and run your website, but not against company policy to build your own website.
4) Like any business, you own to WORK IT. It won't run itself. Some idiots think that as soon as they draw from the right to sell SMC products, they can move their inefficient boy recliners to the beach.
5) When building the website - you technically are selling the product; BUT, you own to offer something that the other SMC website's don't. If you do volunteer something the other website's don't - you might make it.
6) No offense against SMC, but I don't necessarily believe contained by their products (I personally wouldn't buy them for myself), BUT I do believe surrounded by MY WEBSITE. The products are nice and cute little gifts. I am not into that kind of stuff, BUT lots people are.
7) Their customer support for the most subdivision is OUTSTANDING - A++++++++. One of the best. They are nice prices to update people you are supposed to put on the market them for so they think they are getting other when you sell them for smaller number, but you most likely won't trade them for the MSRP price.
9) This is a PHENOMENAL start up business to see how things work and to get other wholesalers interested surrounded by letting you sell their products on your website (remember, if you buy into SMC's produced websites, you won't know how to do this because you won't have copious slots to sell other stuff). Most wholesalers don't charge you a start up tax or yearly payment for you to sell their stuff - but they want to see that you are established (kind of a block 22) before they consent to you sell their products on your site.
10) If you buy into this, foot the full enrollment price up front because it is ultimately cheaper and you get a discount on the wholesale prices. You also own to pay a $39 per annum fee. Not to doomed to failure though because you basically retribution that amount for wholesale clubs like Sams Club or Costco.
11) I don't know almost the return policy within 30 days because I didn't return it, but from what I enjoy researched - you do have to move about through some red tape. Not as simple as saw "here, take it back" and you procure your money back. But basically follow the return policy - TO THE LETTER - and you shouldn't have a problem.
12) They enjoy a coaching service, but it SUCKS. They tell you stuff you already know. They share you stuff that actually benefits THEM similar to; buy these promotional kits and deal in them at flea markets. If you can deal in ice to an Eskimo that may work, but you HAVE to be a TRUE salesman. A true salesman doesn鈥檛 necessarily believe within the products he sells, he DOES believe surrounded by his selling abilities though. DON鈥橳 WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEIR COACHING SERVICE. I regard as my coach was drunk when I talk to him :/

Hi Kethan. Sorry to hear going on for your plight. Some days you're up and some days you're down but remember there is other sunshine after rain. I hold heard that "toning down" your resume help in situations similar to this. I know this sounds strange, but you may want to leave out some accomplishments or responsibilities when you apply for job that you're over qualified for. See if that helps.
