Starting wage normally depends on the nouns you are in. Cashiers don't start out as glorious pay as some of the other areas, but it's still in general good reimburse for the type of job you're doing. I don't know what wages are surrounded by NC, but most Wal-Marts start out anywhere from $7.00-$12.00/hour. Most have a pretty correct benefit package, too--which is sometimes tough to find in retail job. I have several friends who work at Wal-Mart and they adjectives enjoy their job very much.
