I am being offered a position next to a very wellknown company and markedly good money. The only problem is the hours. The company wishes me to work 2nd shift(2pm to 11pm) for the first few months, then I can travel to 1st shift. I have 2 babies. Would you adopt the position, tough it out for the first 3mos until you were on a majority schedule, or would you look for employment elsewhere? I am going to sacrifice spending advisable time with my babies...putting them to bed, reading goodnight stories to them, bedtime baths, etc...but individual for 3mos. What would you do?Answers:
speaking from a single paycheck home with 3 kids i know the answer to this one....i worked for 5 years as a managerin the collections buisness working 9-9 most days . i sacrifice alot but luckily i had my husband home to support for the children. do you have someone you really trust to embezzle care of their minds as ably as their bodies? if so GO FOR IT. to your children this 3 months is gonna be 3 days of the blur of learning and living. your children and kinfolk will ultimately profit largely from only for a while sacrifice. at some point you have to realize that you involve a career not lately a job. GO FOR IT!

You should opt what to do with your natural life. If spending time with your children is really that significant to you, then perchance you should try to find another job. I spent the first year of my second child's existence on a similar shift. My husband worked days and I worked afternoons. We had to do it that instrument because of rising day prudence costs. It was difficult. However, it give my husband the opportunity to be the nurturer and care benefactor for the kids on a regular basis and to develop a close relationship near each of them. It have been heaps years since then, and my kids are particularly close to their dad. They can't go to sleep unless he tucks them within. If Mom does too, well that's okay, but they really want Dad.i agree with dust girl on this one,, tough decision though, i would definatley ask the company to re-evaluate or ask someone on the first shift to trade with you for the three months,

I would win it in writting that I will solitary be working 1st shift after three months. If they are willing to do that and the chore has accurate benefits, pay, 401k, you know alll the apt stuff then hack it out for 3 months. Tell your kids that mommy is going to own a better job but for a short while I wont be here to tuck you contained by at night and read to them until that time you go. Just shift your routine a bit to still spend time with them read together, get through, play, shop with your foreign pay. turn with your heart, what do you estimate in this situation i would read aloud get a babby sitter one and only three months and pays well but if you dont close to the job afterwards quit do somthing you love to do.

Do you REALLY obligation the money?
is the money good and do you really stipulation it?
can you find something better? with better hours?
is it 7 days a week?
how aged are the babies? who is gonnna be with them while you are gone?
Honestly if i reallly needed the money after i would do it esp if the company is promising. Id make sure my kids be with their Dad or Grandmother ONLY! for those 3 months that passageway i would feel As Guilty and hey suppose about you will be near them all hours of daylight till 2 :)
If the charge was otherwise acceptable and you would take the proffer if it wasn't for your child care problems, I myself would categorically take the set aside. You can always reimburse for some help until you've secured your position contained by the company and can transition to the work hours you desire. Once your an employee of the company, you can use their resources to explore other solutions to the problem also.

Many sales positions don't come across to require any degree. Depending on what you're selling, you could earn slightly alot. I used to work for the yellow page and the salespeople made alot of money selling to businesses who needed ads and listings.
Promotions doesn't require a point either (handing out sample, etc) and could be a good track to work yourself into a marketing position without have a degree within that.
5 years ago, the internet/webcam/webmodeling used to be quite lucrative- not anymore unless you are aiming to do porn, and even after it's a much tougher and more competitive business.
Website design also used to be quite lucrative, but not according to the website designers I know now- there's too heaps talented college kids looking to build their portfolios and do work cheap.
