You can achieve work as an admin, a receptionist, a data entry clerk- primarily office work for anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. The repay has a huge range, from $10/hour to $20 (or even $25, some claim) an hour. You can other say no to an assignment if you give attention to the pay is too low.
Temping is a dutiful choice if you're transitioning. In my case, I hold a few months to kill back starting school again- too short to find full-time work, too long to sit around doing zilch.

how safe is it working at a 7 eleven? do they enjoy measures in place to ensure the protection of its force? anyone ever worked there?Answers:
Southland Corporation does not train their body to be safety conscious nor do they own measures in place to protect their workforce.
Southland - 7-Eleven's parent company - requires all stores to own adequate camera (CCTV) coverage through the store, a time locking out of danger mechanism and a silent alarm button which rings directly to the police department. Don't consent to me forget a height judge sticker on the door so that you can measure how large the perpetrator was that robbed you. Also, if your coffee is pious enough, you may even hold a cop or two frequent the location for a steamy hot cup.
Additionally, when my friend visits or works at his locations, he is other packing a little something extra surrounded by the event there are issues. Store owners surrounded by California can possess (legally) a firearm on premesis when working.

What is your opinon of Unions?
Any type of Union, auto, electric, carpenters..etc...Answers:
Not good for the creature who works harder and faster then anyone else. Therefore not a soul strives to do their best because why bother you are not going to be paid any more than the character who sneaks off to the bathroom for a cigarette every hour, take long breaks, and does little work. I think one should win paid base on their work performance not at hand job title. I work for a alliance and am unfortunately one of those ethnic group who has a strong work ethic and budge to work to do the best job that I am competent to. I like going home and self satisfied near the work I do. I don't see how people who pocket advantage of it get the impression proud when the go home that adjectives they did today was work for a total of 2 hours and spent the rest goofing around.

Some good - some not. It take 4 years of training in plentiful construction unions beforehand you make full journeyman's take-home pay, but I know a woman who went to 2 days of training to be a grocery checker and started at $18 an hour and I feel that's ridiculously high for such an unskilled commission.
They destroy capitalism.
I love them...especially natural, in a salad.
Seriously, I expect they are a good agency for the little guys to get their opinion heard.
they did nil when the corpation termated me for no good foundation. and did nothing when the boss i have would not let me own a full lunch break. So as you can see I am not a big fan of them to read aloud the least.
I agree near Unions as they have generate better working conditions for its members and alliance membership isn't a moment ago about getting more money, thats a capitalist attitude of them. Very few are the bosses who provided safe working environments minus legislation or disputes.
Unions are good for the nonspecific employee.
My line has other been big on union, I got a errand with a non-union construction company and we own done a few jobs in a minute where the league guys will come in and pickett on our jobsites adjectives day!! What A-holes they are!! They ring up you every name underneath the sun, throw stuff at you, beat on your vehicle. I a short time ago don't see any reason for it. I own a job, You own a job, turn do your thing and I will do mine, is kinda my attitude give or take a few it. I just don't apprehend why union guys HATE us so much.
Unions are a double edge sword.
Historically, they have help millions of people earn more money and grasp better working conditions and benefits by forcing management to compensate attention to their workers.
However, companies then overhaul these additional costs on the consumer, which drives inflation, which make it harder for the working man to get by.
All contained by all, I am marginally contained by favor of unions.
I support Unions immensly. This may be because I will soon be a subdivision of the Carpenter's Union in Philadelphia. More and more folks are beginning to look down on union, when in sincerity, they are great for people who are not interested within the world of college. Also, you will always hold work, learn a wonderful trade where on earth you can use in your home and personal existence. Most unions (that relate to a specific trade) enjoy wonderful benefit programs and pension plans. Many also proposal free classes paid for by that specific alliance to continue your tuition piece by piece. Especially in the Philadelphia region, within is a high emergency for union workers. All leading projects (in construction) can only be worked on or built by grouping workers. So Many people touch that you can not live happily and comfortable if you do not dance to college and receive a degree. I come from a long row of Union Carpenters in the Greater Philadelphia and Philadelphia region. I will be a 4th colleagues Union Carpenter. Everyone that I have come within contact with that have worked or works presently in a league would not have it any other channel. It is upsetting that these people are looked down on so greatly because they don't hold a piece of paper that say they have a college scope. I am not arguing that some college majors receive a higher settle rate or salary than a league worker, but the pay is wonderful, the benefits and income plans outstanding. I just don't take in why so many ethnic group are against unions, especially when several of them are needed or most things will not get built or constructed if they did not exist. And if they did, the level would be far less than if you have a traned union professional working to that specific trade. I support Unions 100%.

"They destroy Capitalism". Thats a right answer treseuropean. I agree 100% but only will donate a detail to why.
They artificially increase wage rates above market equalibriums. So companies are forces to pay envelope employess more so in return they afterwards hire less, and contribute to greator job loss.
Look at Wal-Mart, they don't have union and look at the number of employees they own 1.7 Million full time. Thats a lot of work they provide for the unskilled labor force. Also Wal-Mart is almost soly responsible for preventing nonenergy inflation, because of the size of their company and prevention of union which would raise hand pay which would with the sole purpose lead to greater prices for Wal-Mart customers.
Labor Unions are an essential component of American life. They enjoy been so successful that it is difficult to see a entail for them. Many of the improvements that they fought for in days gone by have be legislated into law for adjectives working people. These include sanctuary in the workplace, days bad each week, living wages, opening security, and other things.
Some of these legislative gain are under threat due to political hard work to unburden corporations from legislative restraints.
Corporate entities have instrument too much power when dealing with individual body, and unscrupulous or negligent administration can cause a great deal of harm. All it take is ONE bad corporation to be paid economic gain by rude actions toward organization and the other companies have to follow suit contained by order to stay competitive. Without oversight by elected representatives and unions, it would be a big see to the bottom.
If you lack historical perspective into the kind of things that unions own corrected, or are still working on, look up terms close to 'Triangle Shirtwaist' , "Company Store" Coal, "Farm worker pesticide".
Crapolo to me because working in a Food base business we never had the Raises we be supposely promised and guess what happened we adjectives left and really I mull over Unions dont benifit workers more then themselves and the companies.
Unions are a entry of the past. They cost an member of staff a whole lot more than they volunteer AND if you don't abide by every little rule, they don't help at adjectives.
There certainly be a large place for union before law were enact to protect people. Their usefulness have probably diminished in todays workplace. Now they give the impression of being to be big political entities that emulate the big businesses they place their workers in (money gobble machines).

Unions are great when there is solitary one labor pool. Since Asia is releasing it's billions of workers the premises of a union here don't function as resourcefully. Why would a business owner want to deal beside them when Asia is "easier" to deal next to?
I think union are needed and offer profusely of important things. But, I deem they need to consider how their travels can cause inhabitants to lose jobs to countries who own no rules.
I go by the saw, "Money is smart." Money doesn't like rules. Just a thought...
Of necessary importance when they first come on the scene decades ago, when employees be being forced to any work in awful conditions (extreme cold, boil, danger, etc) or quit.
However, very soon I feel they make happen more trouble than they're worth. I feel personnel would be better off if they communicated beside the company directly about their issues. Sure, not adjectives companies are open to this, but most of them would noticeably prefer it to having a confederation dictate their every move and breath.
Receptionists...how does your company touch your lunch breaks when you answer the phone?
Where I work I have to ask say-so to go to lunch and I hold to have someone to relieve me but they are not other willing.Today she told me capably I'm behind so you are going to hold to hurry and eat. It made me soooo wacky considering I get a freakin' partially hour only.
Our phones own a voice mail but lord forbid someone doesn't answer it for a partially hour. We are not a retail business so it is not critical to lose the phone staffing for a half hour.
Any thoughts or question on how your company handles this will allow me philosophy to help me beside this situation which is really getting me to the point I want to just hand down.
Answers:
In my office, I cover my assistant's phone when she is at lunch.
If you enjoy your original proposal letter, or documentation stating your hour lunch and breaks, next you should take it to HR and tolerate them know that you are being taken control of. If you don't feel comfortable doing that, afterwards talk to your boss. If they are well brought-up, they will find a solution. Suggest a solution yourself! Be proactive! If nothing works, I would speak polish your resume and start looking.
Other Answers:
I live in Georgia I am lucky if I win a lunch break. I miss CA with a one hour lunch and 2 salaried 15 min breaks.
I am not a receptionist.
I my company the receptionist is the primary entity to respond. If she needs a break someone within accounting or else sale takes over. They ensure that their breaks do not overlap. Our bureau Administrator worked out a schedule for us. I give somebody a lift my lunch at 11:30am-noon, and while I'm out one of the women from the Loan Department answers the phones at the front desk for me. Then she goes on her break from 12pm-1pm. And consequently her co-worker in the Loan Department take hers from 1pm-2pm. We worked it out this way so there's other coverage.
Sometimes, one of the women gets bringing up the rear with her work, so I hold to wait to pilfer my lunch, but we just work it out amongst ourselves who take their lunch when. I guess I'm lucky I have wonderfully nice co-workers. We never rush respectively other through lunch.
I suggest taking this problem to your Office Administrator and having them work it out.
Good luck:) When you get hired I'm certain they informed you of how much time you be allowed during the day for breaks and lunches. Most places grant you about an hour during the light of day, maybe 90 minutes (one hour for lunch, two 15 min breaks or a 30 min lunch beside 2 breaks).
I recommend that you arrange a schedule next to your supervisor and stick with it. If you jump to lunch everyday at 1 then it shouldnt be a big issue for them to hold the phones covered as when you go will not be a big surprise.
Also, when you turn to lunch get OUT of the organization. Do not make yourself available by one in the department for them to take pre-eminence of. You are entitled to your lunch break and you should take it. They cannot fire you for following the rules they set up.
Mostly though, when you approach this issue next to your boss do it without self whiney. A smile always get more than a frown when it comes to people. Explain your situation within a calm and logical deportment and do your best to make your boss get the impression like the solution you enjoy in your organizer seems resembling their idea. A little ego stroking will assist you get your process as well. They should stagger the lunch times.

how imagined is it that an employer will beckon for an instant interview after reception a resume matching light of day?
For example if you sent your resume in response to a post that included the words "immediate placement" would the interviewer, assuming they resembling your resume, call you for an interview that same afternoon?Would an employer whose ad w/o those words ever hail as for a same-day-as-the-call-of- interest/opportunity interview?
Answers:
In many cases the worss "immediate placement" are included contained by the ad because the company hiring would prefer candidate who are immediately available, a bit than those who would have to loaf for a "notice period" (2-4 weeks) if they quit a current position.
However, it does happen. But if it doesn't, don't verbs. Imediate is a relative term. It will probably purloin a few days to get wager on to you - most likely they continue to receive and sort applicants before they start interview process.
Other Answers:
As an employer, seeing words 'immediate placement' would be paid me put the resume on the bottom of the pile.

Hey, just mortal truthful
Most likely not.
Not potential, at least beside a quality undertaking. By that i mean, if it's a call for for a general laborer, they may a moment ago take who they can receive. but if the job involves precise or educational skills, they would enjoy to at least hold a look at your resume. the only alternative would be, if they enjoy a person specifically designated to do hiring, and that personality is REALLY on the ball. Your the one who desires the job, not the interviewer, so they tend to work at in attendance own pace.
If their ad included the words "immediate placement" it is likely they would christen the same light of day if your resume was up to par. At lowest possible thats what happened when I applied for my current position.
best of luck
