Hi. Its good that your boss & you hold mutual respect for one another, one can see that when reading your notes. This mortal the case I perceive sure that he/she will understand & respect you for person straight and upfront with them. Tell him/her you own enjoyed working next to him/her so much & it will be sad to see him/her donate but you understand that things move forward, later go on to speak I have in fact secured myself a position elsewhere & although I will be in post formerly you retire I would love to come to see you on the day you walk. Stop being so educated and talented.. and stop weakness your boss. Most of the time bosses are "great people," newly for that reason, they want to know how to walk adjectives over you.
