I think it is a vastly interesting and admirable work, but it is a lot of easier said than done physical work. Other than that, it would be on my list of career, if I were to engender a list of career that I would want to do.
I am not an EMT, but I work with deeply of them.
Pros : Each day is different, and copious times can be very exciting.
As first responder, you will enjoy to rely on your skills and knowledge contained by many crisis situations.
Cons: People will use you as a Taxi to the hospital.
