Careers Employment Questions and Answers

Where can a 15 year dated, turning 16 (June 14) find a summer living within Miami, FL?

Answers:
Many places will hire a 16-year-old, especially retail. Try the malls to see who is hiring. It's good to put within an application now for when you turn 16, as summer job fill up breakneck and potential employers will appreciate and authorize your desire to work if you apply sooner than later.

When I be 16, I worked at a sub shop and then at a Chinese restaurant answering phones. The food service industry will not allow you to serve food until you're 18 within many job, as people underneath 18 cannot serve alcoholic beverages in the state of Florida. You can, however, work as a receptionist and form people or run phone orders for take-out. I individually preferred the food service industry to retail, because you can make tips even if you're in recent times seating citizens or handling take out information.

Good luck!

The best item to do is start babysitting for a month or two until you turn 16 then when you turn 16 and try to find a commission. Babysitting will look good on your resume because the employer will know you have deeply of patience and enthusiasm.

In the classifed ads of your local thesis. Or try asking your school something like work experience.

try efficient food restauraunts, or just resembling steak houses or something. You could also try a grocery store, walmart for one, up here in ohio they hire at 16 at walmart. Babysitting (of course thats other fun, lol). I'm not sure just look and ring up EVERYWHERE! thats what i've been doin, im turning 16 august 25! so yeah ur a lil elder than me, well i option you the best of luck! and always hold a smile on your face at a available job interview, don't be nervous, answer question honestly, and if you don't understand a sound out ask them nicely to rephrase it. capably ttyl good luck!

What are some big things to avoid during living interviews and application process surrounded by standard?

Answers:
Stay away from "UMMMMMMMMMMM." Answer promptly. Do not act concerned or unintelligent, but do not achievement conceited either.

Shake hand hello and goodbye, say thank you for your time.

Be honest, they don't want the imitation you.

Ask for the interviewers card or contact info if not available.

Don't forget thank you correspondence, thats how I got my brief (there are great templates, poke about online).

OHHHHH good one (above) knowing in the region of the company. That is usually the first question they ask, "so what do you know in the order of us or our company or the position." GOoD POINTER!

Other Answers:
be ready when you apply-pens and adjectives information ready when you waddle in the door-if at adjectives possible fill out the application there-look family directly in the eye at adjectives times and always shake their hand-be as actual as possible and don't lie on your application

have honest eye contact and keep your hand still. Farting. Definitely... out.

try to avoid butchery the interviewer, that never works in my experience

Being drunk.
Being rude.
Being delayed.
And don't soil yourself.

dont fart hehehehehe All of the above (non-sarcastic) ones.

I also recommend knowing background give or take a few the company (just general stuff) such as when it started, what it does.

Also, after the interview, convey a thank-you note. Ha! Yes, patently avoid farting.

How about, avoid thinking similar to a loser. Put on a positive attitude before you pace in, receive you good intrinsic worth well within mind, walk through that door and obtain the job! - Arrive impulsive.

- Arrive prepared with a fresh copy of your resume. You'd be surprised how oodles people ask for it, even if you've already faxed or e-mailed it.

- Skip the strapping perfume or body fragrance. It can be a serious turn-off to employers.

- Dress professionally surrounded by neutral colors. A prospective employer will not be impressed by a baby grand tie or a bright purple shirt.

Best of luck! And don't be nervous...As much as they are interviewing you, you should be interviewing them to see if it's a place you'd even consider working! Don't forget to ask nearly insurance benefits, paid time off time, and if there's a chance for an increase at the 90 afternoon review...at the appropriate time, of coarse! Take extra copies of your resume to the interview with you, especially if you updated it since applying for the situation. Also take a copy of your reference in grip they ask for it. TURN OFF the cellphone. I interviewed a guy once that kept getting called and my boss get so mad he cut the interview short. Take a notepad and a pen to grain notes of anything you discern will be important to remember.
Before the interview, net a list of 3 or 4 question. When they ask you if you have question and you say no, it's the kiss of extermination for a lot of inhabitants.
If they offer you a drink, win water or decline. Coffee or tea will stain if you spill it, and put together you have to use the bathroom like mad. If you are on a lunch interview, get something explicitly simple to eat: no spaghetti or melt cheesy things. Also get something that is to say a decent price, not the absolute price on the menu. Do not get alcohol even if your interviewer offer it.
Don't embellish your experience, because you'll be found out if you're hired and can't live up to it. Triple check your spelling on your resume. I've had bosses who will only throw away a resume with spelling errors.

Don't ever wear unattached clothes (t-shorts, jeans) to an interview. I got a brief that had more or less 10 applicants at a bank base solely on the fact that I be the only one who didn't wear jeans - I dressed up. 1. Don't move about looking for jobs near groups of friends.
2. Dress appropriately
3. Be honest about your skills and recommendation
4. Be patient - sometimes it take a while for them to get
wager on to you.
5. Don't take a deficiency of response (even after an interview)
personally. I have to interview in profoundly of places
before getting my first available job.
6. Don't put all your eggs contained by one basket. Keep looking,
and maintain pursuing all option.

It takes energy and time. I have a two year antediluvian son, and my goal is to work from home full time. When investigating a company, do your research! It's a lot of deferred nights, and you could draw from caught up within it, but if you are young it's great. A pious friend of mine, never went to arts school, started waiting tables at 18, by 23, he be the head bartender at a popular local tavern, and now, at 29, he is the organizer bartender at the Wynn Casino in Vegas, he slickly makes $1000 a shift...

I am almost done with my paralegal scope. Now I need to find out where on earth I can find an entry-level position to gain some experience. Where can I find it?

Entry level positions are virtually non-existent when it comes to paralegals (check the add and you'll see). You're best bet is to start out as a legal assistant (secretary) as those job are much more prevalant. If you can find a legal assistant commission specifically in the nouns for which you'd like to do paralegal work contained by (probate, litigation, etc.) even better. When you apply, let them know that you own your paralegal degree or tag and that eventually you'd like to work surrounded by that capacity. where on earth can an 15 year prehistoric girl procure an chore from?

Answers:
Babysitting for neighbors

Other Answers:
House sit while people are on break.
I was a "nanny" when I be 15 - not just a babysitter - get to the house right after school and stayed on until parents get home and helped beside dinner and housework. Also took the kids places, like parks and walk - not normal babysitting (sitting around letting the kids keep under surveillance tv for a couple hours). On some weekends I would go to the house and be what is call a "mother's helper" for the family - minister to out around the house, distract kids for the mom so she can get things done around the house. You obtain paid better than a babysitter, and you can become a full-fleged nanny when you are contained by college (save on room and board!).

Good luck

In a brief interview what do you influence are your strengths and what are your weakness?

Answers:
That is always a loaded quiz. I've spent many a year interviewing people and somethings you want to stay away from are generic answers, similar to "I'm a hard worker" What does that scrounging? Do you work quickly? Efficiently? Or are you in recent times capable of lifting robust stuff? Say things like, "I'm dependable, when someone asks something of me, they know it will receive done." And for any interview to go economically, always be sure you can spinal column up what you say when your interviewer asks "Why?" i.e. if you impart someone that above response about dependable, and they ask why, you better own a good answer.

Other Answers:

always voice you are a team player and that you are other willing to swot. you know your weaknessess better than I do. Good Luck! Too many of both to mention. I of late lie and bring up to date them what they want to hear.

If it is a woman, I seduce her.

Strengthens are the things you do really, really economically - i.e. great people skills, excellent research skills, and strong planning. Your "weaknesses" should also be strenghtens - i.e. you close to to spend the time to make sure information is accurate, you close to to get to know and sustain your co-workers, and you like to prepare for the adjectives of your company by spending your own time researching and training. Strengths can be anything good more or less yourself, team-player, quick learner, teachable, etc. Best bets are culture based skills, approaching your computer savvyness, or personality traits, close to friendly and outgoing.

Weaknesses are harder, you need to find something that you can put a positive spin on and try to stay away from self traits. Be sure to also mention that you are constantly working to improve yourself.

Although neither one is pleasant, if you know that your employment is drawing to an end, you should consent to them fire you.

can i become a freelance courier even next to 1 endorsment on my licence and how?

Answers:
Try to develop a relationship with a company that uses couriers (i.e. lawyers). Ask them what they are looking for within terms of your insurance and other details. Try to go and get them to give you a trial run. If they do be sure to do a great available job. Should they like you it will be much easier to capture other jobs. Good luck.

Other Answers:
Yes. If you run your own company you can simply do what you like. The trick is to find a couple of clients that want your service, and after look after them as best you can. Develop a local rates sheet and then lately concentrate on giving really good service. I've found that most courier companies set the pub so low, it's easy to look extremely good!
