Do companies discriminate against applicants who enjoy criminal histories?
It seems that when I am truthful roughly speaking my criminal history, I never get call back for a second interview when applying for job. I sometimes wonder if lying is the better choice. I dont want to lie, but am tired of relating the truth and it being used against me.Answers:
It is not nouns, it is their right to not hire a criminal to protect the company and its employees from criminals. Discrimination applies to things similar to sex, nationality and color of skin. Not chosen behavior similar to criminal activity.
Edit: sqwirlsgirl - I would love to hear her "what if". How does a personality commit a crime but it's not their fault? Like it or not, whether or not to commit a crime is a choice. Victims enjoy to live (sometimes die) with the results of the choice. Why do folks think the criminals shouldn't?
Edit: sqwirlsgirl Again. People "meet the wrong people" but they engineer a CHOICE to hang out near those people, doesn`t matter what. Are you saying that you are so puny minded that you so easily forget right from wrong? As far as "challenging" you - I be only responding to your comment in the region of me. No matter what you read out, it comes down to the choice a person make. To murder or not to murder. To steal or not to steal. Whether or not to drink yourself into a stupor when you KNOW you have to drive home. I guess some of us are strong ample not to be easily influenced by others, some are not.
And I read some of your best answers, as hurting as it was to do so. All I can read aloud is, I understand your defense of criminals in a minute. People do tend to defend their own brand. I do completely agree with your answers more or less pit bulls though.
Edit sqwirlsgirl: I get it. You do not cogitate criminals are responsible for their own actions. You imagine everything and everyone made them (and you) do it. All criminals are just victims of circumstance. Heck, it's probably in fact the victim's fault, right?
Edit: sqwirlsgirl - I am purely laughing at your ignorance now. This adjectives started because you chose to attack me for saying that criminal diversion is chosen behavior. YOU are the one that tried to claim that it is not. All I tried to say be that it does not matter what the curcumstances are, whether or not to commit a crime is a DECISION a entity makes. And I never said that no criminal deserves a second indiscriminate. But I do believe that people enjoy the right to protect themselves if they choose to do so.
Other Answers:
absolutely not, even though someone have a criminal background, the company still have to be polite
A lot of companies are fearful of hiring people near criminal histories for obvious reason, and from their point of view, if 2 candidate are equal, it's an easy choice to trademark.
That said, I'd advise against lying on your interview when they ask. Sooner or latter, it might come out anyway and if you lied at the start, they probably have motive to fire you immediately. Just save trying. Eventually some employer will be more open-minded and thought more about how in good health you do the job instead of some of the mistakes surrounded by your past.
The company I work for have rules about who can be hired because you are working directly next to customers and their belongings, so we can not take a accidental on hiring someone with a embezzlement background. We also for the sake of our workforce wouldn't hire someone violent.
That said...we do look at respectively person individually and see how they hold been since the conviction.
We however are up front, honest and respectful.
EDIT CATNIP AGAIN.....No.....you still don't get hold of it. I SAID....WE SHOULD TAKE THE CONSEQUENCES FOR OUR ACTIONS. There are always going to be family who don't understand that I salaried my price to society and actually probably am better rotten for it and NOW try to teach and organize from my experience. But if I was to surround myself next to people approaching you..who feel similar to you do...I would have probably said screw it...whats the point. And consequently I would probably be dead from loneliness and guilt. I hold one good point to say to you....and afterwards I am done with you. Before MY experience I be EXACTLY like you..judgemental, finger pointing and ill-informed. Maybe specifically why God saw fit to put me in my place. He did apposite.....he really did.....sorry I didn't get that across to you.
EDIT CATNIP...Yes I be feeble minded satisfactory to think that you would bring it. I am sorry!.....Some times it takes a small individual to make a great edict and other times it takes a big party to make a small one. We criminals should never prove correct our actions..we should basically live with the consequences of our arrangements and take criticism from populace as they see fit. Kudos to you....Catnip....you put me in my place.
EDIT....CATNIP....I don't hold to explain a thing to you...UGH. I answered the examine and was sulky by your answer. But to break it down in little tiny pieces for a entity who calls themself "catnip"....A lot of times ancestors meet the wrong individuals, drink the wrong drink, smoke the wrong ....umm whatever, and love so unconditionally that they variety the wrong choices and MOST the time the reaction to those instances WAS NOT chosen.....it be a product of the moment..that most..if not adjectives will regret forever.....so don't judge...until you know adjectives the facts. Oh and if you want to REALLY challenge me.....read my best answers...in that is one answer there that say it all. Really how could you be so closed minded.....guess I hold to read all your Q and A very soon....UGH....not looking forward to that.
Did the chick on top of me (Catnip) a short time ago say chosen practice. What if it wasn't CHOSEN....what if..well I won't walk there, we don't know the aim for ALL the felonies contained by the world DO WE.
Don't lie....move about on a 100 interviews and then realize that the one human being who gives you a randomness is the one person you SHOULD be working for and grant him/her the best you got
Is it really true that you can bring in money taking online surveys? Are any of you doing it?
I am interested in getting a pt living online. Is this stuff for real, or lately a bunch of scams?Answers:
There are legal online market research companies out near that will pay you to share in their studies. Generally, the pay cheque is small (and I mean SMALL). Some will pay packet you a small amount for participating, while others will only enter you to a monthly raffle (I prefer the bread on hand immediately).
Pinecone Research for example pays one and only $5 per survey, and they can send you anywhere from 1-5 surveys a month. To assist, however, you must be part of a desired demographic group as studies are farm out based on your profile (e.g. mothers of babies from 0-12 months old).
Avoid those companies that requires you to pay envelope to participate surrounded by the panel. Legitimate ones do not do that; afterall, their clients (mostly brand names and biggest companies who own the money to pay for open market research) pay them and adjectives they need to do is to find the right demographics for their clients.
I suggest you read the article "Earning Money from Online Surveys" at http://www.powerhomebiz.com/vol121/online.htm for tips on how to involve yourself in in online surveys and examples of lawful companies.

Who do you address a resume to, if you don't know the hiring manager's moniker? "To whom it may concern:"?
Answers:
It's better to be more specific than "to whom it may concern" or "dear sir" because people will not hold time to read the letter. If you are more specific, they can better direct the communication to the appropriate contact. Here are some examples:
"Dear Recruiting Team at IBM:"
"Dear Hiring Manager at Johnson & Johnson:"
"Dear Human Resource Representative at Pepsi Company:"
Other Answers:
Or Respectd Sir/Maam.
Yes, to whom it may concern.
You dont address a resume to anyone, its always standard. The cover letter should be address to Dear Sir/Madam. Use the company name inwardly the body of the cover letter to show that its not a generic that you roll out for everyone, and to show what you can specifically bring to the company.
The resume is not address to everyone. The cover letter should be address to the hiring manager or whoever looks at your resume. As a rule of thumb, it looks better if you in actual fact know who this person is and can address the communiqu茅 to them.
When I hire people, I am not as impressed next to letters that merely state: To Whom It May Concern, or Dear Sir/Madam.
Too generic.
It looks stunning if you took the time to find out who does the hiring. Just call the company and ask the receptionist who it is and address your cover notification to them.
Cover letters are address to persons who hire. Take 2 min. to appointment find out whom you are sending your information to.
The person within charge will be pleasantly impressed and you would have made a positive indentation right of the gate.
Good Luck
Call up the company and find out who does the interviewing
Call the company or do a websearch on the company-- on their company site you might find adjectives the info you need. If it's not within, there is zilch wrong with calling the company and asking. And ask them to spell the baptize, don't assume Cathy is Kathy, ask them to spell it. It is much more impressive to own that info than a generic "Dear Sir". It shows you have done somewhat research and that will put you ahead of the pack right off the bat.
I other customized my resume to reflect my experience and potential for the job I was looking at (ex. for staffing hours of darkness clubs or country clubs as a server or other position, or entry-level - usually teller - positions beside banks or other financial institutions, and reception or administrative jobs). Then I hit the ashen pages and call all the places to find out who is contained by charge of hiring and/or the names of the owner(s). That's how I did it. I get a lot of call back because my cover correspondence caught someone's attention, as they were cusomized too. If you don't want to product that sort of effort.... okay, I think it go Dear Sir or Madame.
What duty should I Chose Hairdressing or nursing??
I am a qualified Hairdresser but for the last year own worked in a Nursing home Caring for elderly as needed the money to train as a hairdresser! I enjoy just have an operation so been sour work for a while! Now I want a fresh start in a contemporary job! I love civilized so much and wanna go put money on to a similar job! But populace are saying I've dried up my time training to be a hairdresser although i still do mobile hair!Answers:
I'm an x-ray technologist and I know what you propose about attachment the medical field. You can carry an LVN certificate surrounded by 1 year but the money isn't that great. My advice is progress to a junior college and get a 2 year amount in nursing and become an RN. The work description is good and the money is great!! Look into it!! You won't feel sorry! And don't care going on for what people articulate. It's your life right?! Good luck!!
Other Answers:
Work at the nursing home AND be a hairdresser! You know the ladies at hand would appreciate it!
You never dissipate money with an lessons. I am currently in institution for nursing and have found it to be the right ruling for me. The money is great, and if you like kindly for people, i.e. the line of work to be in motion into. Let's put it this way... my hairdresser is currently attending nursing academy.... basically, you hold got the best of both worlds. it depends on what you want. do you want to do something you wallow in doing or something that gives you more payment. if you want something with more money, analyse both job then choose, but for chose what you enjoy doing. which ever mode you go, you could still do both if you can squeeze time for it.
I suggest you work in nursing as your primary duty, but be one of those hairdressers that goes to people's houses after work hours and on weekends to do their quill for lower prices as opposed to working within a salon, that way you earn more!

how do i write a recomendation dispatch?
Answers:
A professional recommendation should be honestly short and concise in professional terminology. Tell how long you have certain the person, how (professionally or intuitively or both) and your general dint of them. You can use the salutation, 鈥淭o whom it may concern鈥?or a slightly friendlier, 鈥淒ear Sir or Madam鈥?Keep it short, two short paragraph should do it.
鈥淚 have have the pleasure of working with so-and-so for the end eight years. In that time I have come to know him/her as a reliable strong working person. He/she of your own accord takes on any assignment and works at it until reaching the most successful result possible. On a personal information, so-and-so has proven to be resourcefully liked and respected by everyone beside a reputation for helpfulness and a hard work ethic.鈥?br>
A personal suggestion would focus more on your personal relationship of course. But don鈥檛鈥?use slang, stick beside a professional letter layout and don鈥檛 find too personal. Just stuff about their nonspecific reputation, (friendly, always prepared to help, any volunteer or community work, responsibility, etc.)
The second relationship I've added has links to taste letters. Good luck.
Other Answers:
jump to G00GLE.com and type in counsel letter and use those as your starting place
Be careful not to write anything which could be constued as slanderous. This could potentially result in a civil suit against you by the individual concerned.
The best style to do this is to stick to facts rather than giving subjective opinion. Of course, a factual side containing nothing but date of employement etc is of limited use to the character you are recommending.

what to deal in on ebay to cause money?
Answers:
Clothing is a BIG business on eBay. Try shopping a discounter like TJ Maxx, Ross for Less, Marshalls or anything it is called contained by your area for women鈥檚 clothes from designers close to Ralph Lauren, BCBG or Tommy Hilfiger. Often times you can find, for example, a woman鈥檚 shirt that sells contained by the mall for $50 on public sale for $10. Odds are if you put it on eBay for $25, you'd sell it. The customer think they saved $25 and you made $15. :) Now multiply it by 100 sale and you're in business. I do around $2K a month in sale and I profit about $500 and that鈥檚 from a short time ago working part time. It's not "easy money", you do own to work at it, but if you're willing to invest the time and application, you can do it

The Fair Labor Standards Act stipulates specific tests to determine whether a assignment is nonexempt or exempt from its provisions. Hourly rate. Usually the rate of pay, expressed within dollars and cents per hour, for manual and other work rewarded on a time basis. Also used to designate the earn rate per hour under incentive methods of wage sum.
Other Answers:
It depends on what country you live in. In some countries human being exempt means they don't run you out and shoot you if you make a mistake!
Exempt and non-exempt refer to whether an hand is hourly or salary contained by simple terms. You are exempt from overtime, hence earnings or non-exempt which means you are compensated by the hour. There are fine lines and grey areas here, but that is the jist of it. Exempt workers study their hourly rate go down the more hours they put surrounded by and non-exempt watch their hourly rates step up after 40 hours.
