The problem will be finding a company that will sponsor your H1B Visa. Your education sounds flawless, but finding a company will still be hard. The company have to pay for the visa fees, so they would a bit find somebody who can already work in the US.
Try finding a tech company that wishes your specific skills, or even better your language skills. If they want a bi-lingual tech support person, they are more probable to sponsor your visa.
Remember that once you have an H1B visa, the company have great power over you. If they fire you, then you enjoy to leave the US. Some companies use this power to take more work and less clear out of employees. But some companies are upright.

Their attitude is not keeping them poor. They are a short time ago conditioned in taking the comfortable way out. But this is generalize. It comes down to the individual.
