It depends on the exams. If you are talking GCSEs and A level and you have not long passed them (say, within the second 5 years) then yes, employer will want to see your grades. If your grades are not so good why not hold an evening class to brush up in those areas, and to show perspective employer that you are using your initiative and trying to improve your option?
