Be soothing! A telephone interview can be only as nerve wracking as a everyday interview, even though you can't see the interviewer's face, and they yours.
Make sure that you're within a room where you won't be distracted by other noise or other people. Turn anything that could variety a noise rotten before answering the touchtone phone. If you were going to be interviewed within someone's office, you would never hear them listen to the radio.
Have a pen and notepad handy, so that you can write down the main points of the grill asked. This can keep the grill in your mind as you compose your answer. Don't verbs about asking for the press to be repeated or rephased.
Often the person conducting the interview will be typing your answers onto a computer, so don't verbs if there's a pause between you finishing answering the press and them asking the next query.
Take your time answering the question. Silence will indicate to the interviewer you're thinking something like your answer.
As for questions you can expect, they will probably ask you in the order of your previous experience, and questions that will relate to the position you're applying for.

You will get impossible to tell apart types of questions as a face-to-face interview such as, "What are your strengths and weakness," "Tell me of a situation where you..."
Smile while conversation. You can hear a smile. Sit upright so your voice projects all right and speak at a steady pace so the interviewer can pilfer notes.

It is basically one and the same as a regular interview, just not obverse to face. They will ask you indistinguishable questions as any other interview i.e. what you did at your previous profession and why you left. Just remember to stay upbeat and positive. You are selling YOU. Know that you can do this and you may be like a cat on a hot tin roof, but it is a learning experience. Yes treat it close to a regular interview. Dress as you would a normal interview (tie if you hold one) Be ready for typical question about departed employment etc. Speak clearly don't stutter make your answers concise. Don't run on and on. Make sure you enjoy NO DISTRACTIONS that means others surrounded by house TV radio etc. Telephone interviews are actually tougher because employer cannot read your body movements eye contact etc. Employer cannot see your facade so make sure what you right to be heard cannot be taken any other way later how you mean it. Avoid humor unless things are impressively light. Humor can be misunderstood when you cannot see someones facade. Have details with numbers facts etc next to you to recite if needed to stern anything you say. That would be my guidance I have taken phone interviews and given them so I speak from actual skill. Don't get through or drink, have music or tv contained by the background. Make sure phone call waiting is disabled so you won't be interrupted. Stay as calm as you can, hold your resume handy and any other notes you may hold about accomplishments you hold to brag about. Question is a little confusing but I'll hold a stab at this and maybe oblige you.

Yes, I did this just a few weeks ago. I unresigned and they "unaccepted my resignation". We have a long talk and get things straightened out. Now it is better than ever before. One time I put my two weeks mind in for a mission and then cancelled it. But, next a few months later I put my interest in again because equal problems started back again.
