Anybody work for Swift Transportation?
Question:
I am leaving subsequent tuesday to go through their training program. I be just wondering if anyone have worked for them? Is it worth staying with them for 6 mos or a year only to get my CDLs, or should I loaf untill next year when my driving copy reaches 3 years next to no accidents and start near Schneider.
Answer:
I have be with Swift for 5 years. Yes it is worth it. Why do you want to driver for Schneider. Everyone I ever know that worked there be unhappy. JB Hunt is better than Schneider. Why wouldn't you want to stay near Swift?
they are about the WORST trucking company contained by the US.
Stay very far away from them.
Schneider would be better training and a better 1st available job.
Whoever you work for 1st- stay at least a year and be sure to follow adjectives rules when you change job. If an employer reports you to DAC as a bad hand you will have a deeply hard time getting a chore at a good company.
My dad works for Swift, and have for about 6 years or so. I reflect maybe more. I don't know simply how long it took him to get his CDLs, but I don't meditate it took him quite that long. Then again, times own changed.
Swift is a great company to work for- they have a laid fund atmosphere, and they really do care around their drivers. They also have awesome condition insurance, both for the drivers and their families. They also pass pretty big bonuses for not having any accident, having things stolen past its sell-by date the truck (like merchandise- which does happen), a good sheltered driving record, etc. I would influence not to wait, and achieve going into their program. The training they give you is excellent, and if you do prefer to wait and step with another company, after their training shouldn't be as rigorous.
I have to alert you, though, to not expect to be making good money right away. You own to go through 1-2 months training next to an experienced driving mentor, who gets compensated more and gets partially of the miles you drive while under supervision, and the nouns amounts depend on the time of year and the weather conditions. For example, around Christmas, my dad made bank money, but very soon, he's been waiting for 4 days for a nouns in LA.
Good luck, and soak up your new experience!
swift is the laughing stock of the road, we other picking on them, because most of them cant drive but it's your choice. P.S. SWIFT= SEE WHAT I F---UP TODAY
Anyone or anything is better than Swift.
What are Somethings too say aloud while Being Interviewed By an employer?
Question:
Am going for an Interveiw I need Questions employer would during a Interveiw for a job
Answer:
The best point you can do is just be yourself. I enjoy interviewed some prospective employees on moment and the ones I like the most are the ones that are who they are.
One of the best things you can possibly do during a work interview is to pay a compliment to the passageway your potential employer does a particular entry in their business, though you want to pick something that shows that your compliment is absolutely authentic, and also that shows you have already bothered to revise the basics of how that potential employer operate.
The types of questions an employer will ask you during an interview really depend on a few factor...the person who is interviewing ou and also the company...as plentiful companies - mostly larger ones - have thoroughly set guidelines and pre written and set interview questions they ask while interviewing. Those may include question such as; Tell me about yourself, Why do you want to work here?, or why do you want this brief, What is your biggest strength...or weakness? Why do you get the impression you are the best person for this profession? What do you know about our company? Tell me nearly your biggest achievement or nouns?...as well as plentiful other questions probably relating specifically to the assignment and job duties itself. Be confident, produce great eye contact, be yourself and you will ace the interview!

Uhhhhh...duh!! Contact the manager. Thanks for the points!!
I approaching CVS better than Walgreens. I like the mat floors and the lower aisles so I can see where things are better. CVS merely has a better layout I guess. Regarding the give somebody the third degree though, they are all run by teenagers so what do you expect as far as service go?
Horrible staffing and management. They don't contemplation. They rake in money paw over fist. I was a moment ago thinking this morning, that I'm not going to give them another penny. Cheap, stingy, company.
i enjoy noticed that too...i enjoy been going to walgreens instead.
Me too! All the Sav-On's within SoCal are now CVS (with the exception of in-store ones) and it's awful. I hold yet to hold a decent experience and I would love to evolution but don't want to deal next to the hassle of changing prescriptions. It's also far closer than any other pharmacy.
I've complained via their website, never hear back. Which really shouldn't surprise me given their complete scarcity of customer service.
I hate CVS and I deliberate that they do not have patients best interest at heart. On 3 different occasion they have attempted to verify our insurance and respectively time claim that the coverage is not current or the card is no good or better even so that the medicine is not covered consequently when we return home and call the insurance we find that the card is obedient, the coverage is active, and the meds are covered.
So I am going to monitor this question within hopes to get my answer to who else I can complain to except the BBB and my insurance.

Negative Job Reviews?
Question:
If I had to write a letter to an employee of mine explicitly constantly getting phone calls from friends and own flesh and blood, what's the best way in the order of going about it? I am brand new to this.
Answer:
Since this is an official message, make sure that you not solely date it, but also specify the consequences of further incidences. Generally something like explicitly grounds for termination. Stealing your time and using your equipment to do it.
Also state what you want, "personal telephone call need to be made beside your telephone during your bad hours, which are before and after work and during your lunch time."
Since you pay for breaks you are not obligated to include those. Otherwise you will find them taking lots of breaks.
Unethical ethnic group will find ways to steal from you, so try to cover as many basis as possible.
I would start by talking to him/her frontage to face. Let the being know that they are getting too many peronal phone call. Make sure you write down the fact that you spoke to the party and the date. Put it in their directory. If it doesn't get better, you have need of to write them up and have them sign it. Usually the first time you speak near someone like that they are embarrased and will correct the situation.
Certificate or citations?
Question:
I know this may be a common sense grill, but forgive me, I trying to figure out what is better a pass or a certification. Why I ask is that I'm going to institution for a Medical Administrator and wanted to pinch some additional course(billing and coding), and in that is a school surrounded by my area besides the one I'm going to is offering courses. One of the courses you purloin will give you a ticket when you complete it. I'm just confused is to what can I do beside a certificate when applying for a opening? I wonder if they will take me serious or chortle me!?!?! I know I'm over acting to the issue, but could some one GIVE ME SOME KNOWLDGE ON THIS ISSUE!??!?!?
Answer:
A certificate; ha! ha! it is to crow.
A certificate is a nice to hold piece of paper to be exact not as important as a scope, even an associate鈥檚 degree. With a card you MIGHT be qualified to do something, the employer has to rob a chance on you.
A records is a document that says you enjoy been trained, and tested contained by a specialized area on a standard permitted by the industry. A certification is PROOF that you can do something.
My brother-in-law is a computer framework engineer. He never graduate college though, but he has taken profusely of certification courses. That and his experience engender him a very expensive (and well paid) entity. In fact his is more useful than a college graduate with a level in Computer Science. The graduate have no experience, and more importantly no certifications. They are also trained in the more abstract of programming. But within are a lot of computer program packages out at hand that business can use right off the shelf. To administer their networks and to install and continue those programs someone like my brother-in-law is needed.
On a go up of 1-100 I would put a certificate at 20, a records at 50, an associates degree at 75 and a college level at 100. Experience can make up abundantly of that difference and multiple certifications can do even more.
I know a medical student who is studying to be an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT); effectively a paramedic. She has have a lot of schooling surrounded by her field adjectives ready. When she finishes her class, which is with the sole purpose 3 months long, she will receive a Certification. She WILL BE an EMT. If she only get a certificate later it would mean she MIGHT be capable of do some of the work that an EMT can do.
The bottom line is what sympathetic of job can you return with when you complete your course. That is the question that you own to ask. A job as a medical document processor purely requires a specialized knowledge of the medical enclosed space and the required forms. A Medical Administrator is someone who manages medical document processors. You call for a degree within that field in the past you can enter management, along next to some business courses (which I assume are in the latter stages of the course plan.
In your case a ticket might be a step along the road to getting your certification or your amount. It will almost certainly NOT qualify you for anything more than an entry smooth position.
A certificate is a piece of serious newspaper, like a level, that says you completed a course of study.
A records is obtained, unanimously, by passing a professional exam surrounded by a certain profession. You usually will hold to obtain so heaps CEUs in a duration of time to re-certify every few years.
When applying for job with a tag, that will tell the employer you took your time to rivet in study within the field you need to pursue as your career.
No professional procedure will laugh at you if you took your time, activeness, and money to invest in your adjectives.
I suggest to go ahead and give somebody a lift the course. People will know that you know billing and coding when they look at your resume in your coaching section. Something you can be proud of.
Whats the best to choose?
Question:
I am currently working and about to resign myself cuz i wanna save with my studies and i dont surface and i dont like comfortable next to what i am doing. I was looking foward another opportunity where I could draw from a part time so i can create any money because within a year i will receive marry. I got this livelihood offer where on earth i am gonna get the partially of the amount of money that im getting right now but i would LOVE to do that
what you consider is the best? i have till monday to create a choise.
Answer:
Not to be a toolbag, but you should spellcheck and proofread your writing before you hit submit, kinda firm to understand. But I woulda utter to go beside the job your sunny with and would love to do. If it's individual part time, you'lll know how to do your studies as you wanted to, and you'll still be making partially of what you were making (keep within mind its part time). Hopefully you own a sugar daddy and don't have to work at adjectives once your married. Good luck!
I'd go stern to school. Your writing skills are appalling, and you need to work on them contained by order to add to your chances of getting a better opportunity. In any case, ultimately the solitary person who can net this choice is YOU. What is BEST is dependent on what YOU want. Follow your heart... but not before you listen to your brain.
daughter is a waitress?
Question:
My daughter is a waitress and her employer has not counted tips. She will receive a small w-2 I'm sure for the small amount she receive in totting up to tips, about $2.14/hr I construe. She's 17. Does she file beside me or on her own?
Answer:
one question on the toll return is "are you claimed as a dependent" on someone else's tax return. my son file separately from me and due to the small amount he made, he did not have to discharge taxes.
I'm pretty sure that she files with you. She will hold to pay taxes on the tips that she received.
next to you if shes under 18
Depending on how much she earn, you can claim her if it's under a trustworthy amount, I'm not 100% sure but I believe it has to be beneath 7000
If she lives with you, you should claim her as a dependant.
Also two things. Does her employer do alike as with adjectives the other waitresses? All waiters/waitresses should claim about like amount in tips or the IRS will win suspicious. The second is, if the IRS owes her a refund she have nothing to verbs about. She can even dally up to three years to file. That channel she will get three years of returns adjectives at once. You can only hold a W-2 for three years though. If one go over three years, she loses that year.
If SHE owes the IRS, she needs to database for that year. Highly doubtful that will happen.
If you are within a position to financially rub her back truthfully often, she can hold the taxman take more taxes out than they necessitate to so that when she does file, she'll take more money in her return. It's like putting it surrounded by the bank. Just enunciate so on the W-4 form how much more to take out respectively check. The IRS will be happy to comply.
Some individuals do that in armour they owe at the end of the year and lessen the burden. I don't see that scheduled to her though. It would just be nice to enjoy a nice check during the first part of the year.
I own been doing this for years. I own more taxes taken out, wait for three years, profile for those years, and rake back surrounded by MY money.
