First pre-med...bachelors in biology, zoology, psychology, chemistry, etc (just nearly anything really), then four years of medical institution and then comes your residency. Best way is to merely train yourself at home if you have a computer. Get some really righteous software, though...not those cheap training programs. But actually even the better software doesn't cost that much. The best I am aware of so far is Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing. The standard and deluxe version. Standard costs about $20 to $25 surrounded by most places...and it's technically the same article as deluxe. Deluxe just have some extra unneeded junk on it, but same typing program and same methods and such.
Data entry is logically broken down into a few categories: Alpha, numeric...and alphanumeric.
Alpha = Mostly basically the letters one and only...kind of resembling word processing, but occasionally having a few numbers. Usually this is typing junk mail out to someone...or typing in information that has more words than numbers. These are commonly much easier positions when compared to numeric.
Numeric = Mostly, if not adjectives use of the 10-key number keypad. This is more for the financial positions...where you sit and knob in stuff similar to check amounts, financial figures, and mixed numbers all sunshine. Usually companies want anywhere from a minimum of 6,000ksph to 10,000+ksph.
Alphanumeric = Entering data by words and using the numeric keypad.

Tricky; depends on how sick you penny-pinching. I'm a college professor and I had a student second semester, with impeccable attendance, start to cry because she had a severe headache. I told her to budge home and get some rest, but she be more concerned with her association grade--I basically ordered her to move about home and assured her that it would not affect her grade. I trusted that she be feeling horrible and wish her well.
I try to stay home within bed. I think it's rude when general public go to work sick and spread germs to everyone they come surrounded by contact with.
