What should you wear if you're going to a business to just crawl out an application, not for an interview or anything? The company conducts phone surveys and I don't want to look too dressy, but I don't want to look too casual any.

Go dressed as if you're planning on getting an interview. Better to be ready for a closing minute than not.
I've gone to jobs beside intentions of only wadding out an application, only to mitt it in & ask to dawdle a few minutes while the manager is summoned. I've have on-the-spot 1-5 minute interviews to ones where I budge into their office or another nouns for a lengthier one. Every single time, I've gone dressed like I'm going to be interviewed. It shows the company that you're serious in the order of being hired here.

Depending on where you are waitressing. If you are waitressing a angelic restaurant, you are paid okay. Your hours are not so good. Dinner pays better. You are treated scantily though. The job of waitressing be better once. When people found out how much they compensate, society crack down on the waitress. THe government forced the waitress to discharge taxes, and managers are in a minute forcing them to share their tips. Now in San Francisco, some waitressing chore are bought. It's kind of a insensible end commission too.
My mother raised/supported my brother and I working one full time day opportunity and waitressing nearly every night of the week. When I be real childish I used to have to suspend around in the restraunt while she worked. She really busted her butt. She made fully clad money in tips. It is a tough work. Isn't it amazing how companies suddenly develop problems near their paying system when someone quits? I mean, sure they don't own the problem all the other times you be paid, but when you quit, they become conniving little b*tches and suddenly they have problems next to their "system".
If I were you, I'd singular give them until this Wednesday to cut you a check. Do you hold any friends that work there that you could ask on the side if they received THEIR check? If they received their check, there's no point why you shouldn't have received yours since it wasn't similar to you were a different employee and things get "mixed up" or whatever.
If you find out that other ethnic group received their check and you don't hear anything or receive anything by Wednesday, contact a lawyer and form a complaint about them illicitly withholding wages.
