My boss said it was "unfair" to everyone else that works during the week but the solitary people that work on the weekends are teenagers that are unripe and they don't do any of their side work (I'm a waitress and side work is like chores that must be done up to that time they go home) they of late make their money and shift home (I have to do the stuff that they don't do because I am the closer.) and if I considered necessary to cleanup after or work with children I would work contained by a daycare. I had this same issue come up when I be a server. I listed on my application and even told the controller when he hired me that Sunday was my relations day and I would not work on Sundays. This be fine when I was hired surrounded by but after about a year within, they had plentifully of people come and progress and schedules changed...they tried to produce me work Sundays but I stood my ground and told them that when I hired in, I specified NO SUNDAYS! If it is something that you have listed on your app when you be hired, then I would read aloud they have no ground to stand on. hi as long as you have it written down somewhere inside the work place that you stipulated no weekends at your interview you should be fine,however if you have a contract and it say to include weekend work then they own you by the balls.

Besides the superior education issue, we parents are FRIGHTENED TO DEATH at the thought of our beloved children going to time of war. just because you don't hold the work experience doesn't mean that you can't do the situation...list adjectives the qualities of yourself that you have an idea that would make you appropriate at the job you are applying for. Personality is a big entity too. You can always cram. If they say you don't own training ask if they will give you some, because you are more than prepared to learn.
List any job you had prior to becoming a stay at home mom. List skills you hold, such as typing, phones, etc. You may have to start at entry stratum, but you should be able to move up fast. Keep the first job at least possible 3-6 months to show job stability and maybe you could get a correct recommendation from your boss. Keep doing like peas in a pod thing until you gain a position your chirpy with. Continuing Education may be expensive and time consuming, but 1-2 classes a semester would be great for you... it would bring back you away from the kids for a while, further your education and show self motivation on applications. What are your recommendation? If a high institution graduate, then you already know you will be making minimum wage. If Congress kick it to $ 7.15 , you still won't be able to manufacture a go of it. I would look for work surrounded by retail; at least you might know how to get some benefits . How close are you to your kinfolk? Can they help you out until you can receive that degree? 4 days from 2pm to 10pm
4 days from 10pm to 6am...all 12 days contained by a row with no breaks !
Then 2 to 3 days stale...if it's the weekend you only receive two days off...
That's not counting the ending 4 years of my "career" when I got to work TWELVE hour shifts...omg ! Imagine yourself within a position and after 4 hours realizing you hold 8 hours left to turn...
Bottom line -- it's best to look for something else if the work you do SUCKS ! -- the stress isn't worth it.

I'm not a truck driver, but my father is. I have gone beside him on holiday's quite regularly, so I do know what it is like to drive for hours on shutting down.
First off, North America is a handsome place. From the Rocky Mountains to the Prairies it is just wonderful. So (I don't know something like all truckers), my father take alot of pictures, brings them home and shows his family, discussion about his trip as he go.
Second off, he have many friends who are also truckers, and they know where on earth each other is going to be. In several trips he meets up next to his friends and they stop and have a breakfast time or a coffee with respectively other before going their seperate ways.
Third he negotiations on the phone alot. He phones his 2 year old nephew and chats next to him, as well as his other familial memebers and friends.
Forth he listens to Sirus Radio which is satalite radio beside more than 100 channels
Fithe he listen to Book's on CD's. This is actually a big opening for my mom and I because we are always on the look out for books he will close to, and then getting them arranged for him to take. My mom does it mostly but I oblige.

Aren't you bored sitting contained by the same place everyday, looking at duplicate things everyday? You can take a man out of trucking, but you can't clutch trucking out of man. I've driven about 35 years, and over 2 million miles, and to this morning I would rather do that, than sit within one spot all hours of daylight, every day. I've see a lot of this great country of ours, and I get paid to do it.

and whenever i drive within the city, i hardly own the time to get bored, too much traffic, too abundant cars that cut you off.

and i admitt, in attendance is always the cell phone, society like to receive msgs, chitchat on the phone...
and once you park for the night or fuel or doesn`t matter what, you go and drink, watch tv, discuss politics, trucks next to other drivers... some drivers go and play within the casinos, watch tv surrounded by their trucks, read and just relax...
and yes, sometimes near is alot of pressure, because people want their loads asap, so you are surrounded by such a big hurry that you don't have the time to bring back bored.
