It depends on the company but when I do my interviews I ask...

Why did you leve your last situation? If I am told anything negitive about the second job I don't hire them. If I am told that they needed more hours I don't hire them. If you are a worthy employee they can find more hours. The individual really good answer is that you are looking to excell yourself surrounded by an area that you can't surrounded by your current job or you hold moved. Example... I really enjoy merchendising however contained by at my current job they enjoy a very structured layout that doens't permit me be creative and focus our best products to our customers.

I also ask about what their hardest hours of daylight at work has ever be and what they did. If they say here have be so many, I wonder if it have been because of their attitude. And the individual answer I am looking for as to what they did is remain calm, collected try to work through the situation and after it is over choose to restart their time with a great attitude.

I also ask them what they ponder this job entail. So I know if they know what they are getting themselves into. At our company while it is retail there is a ton of encyclopaedia labor. I want to make sure that they appreciate this so 3 days into the job they don't find out how much work their really is and waddle out.

What changes enjoy you made or suggested in your former company that be used and what was the result? I want someone who is a problem solver who is other trying to make the company better and not simply collect a paycheck.

If he's good plenty to keep , a turnaround on a non-productive passage or managing a really difficult project might make those virtues you mentioned intraprenurial assets instead of drawbacks.
