Careers Employment Questions and Answers

Stay contained by a post where on earth you own a nice boss who treats you near respect, but doesn't settle up much, or?

Question:
go and work for a possibly uptight, condescending boss who will settle up you well?

Answer:
Hmmm...I guess it really depends on how much you pro money and how much you value your current errand. If I were you, I'd work for the well-paying livelihood. Besides, you never know if your new boss will be nice or not. They could turn out freshly as great as the one you have presently. If you're truly attached to your boss, however, stick to your current job, as long as you're making satisfactory money to pay for everything you entail.
Never make decision like this base on money, because in the finish off, the money is never worth it- money is not as much of a motivating factor as people cogitate it is.

If you want to make more money, swot up how to live below your means, and start investing your money. Put your money to work for you- after you can do what you want, where you want, and how you want- because you will not be working for money- it will be working for you!
Try checking out this website by simply click on the following http://www.website.ws/jcamp1017... once you enjoy chosen to get 'filled in' you will after be shown this fantastic step-by-step video on the top of the page that will explain to you all that you call for to know. It will take you some time to vista it all, but i significantly recommend checking it out if you have some time! You'll be earn extra cash contained by no time and can say goodbye to those harsh bosses!! Best of Luck!
That is a Good question. I would say-so stay where you "approaching it" even if they don't pay much. That is when RAISES and bonuses come contained by. I would stay where i fell the most confortable and "Happy"
From my experience, working at a duty that pays more but with a strict (and possibly insane) boss is not worth it surrounded by the long run.

Choose the job where on earth you will look forward to work, not dread it. Personal happiness is far better than extra money.
Work where on earth you are going to be happy. When you come home you don't want to other be mad or upset, uptight, or complaning roughly speaking your job. If you choose the brief you like than you will be thankful no quit so fast, or quit at adjectives, and the boss might be nice and give you honourable raises. You will touch better about yourself going next to a good opening, and not one that pays more unless you really need the money right away. Good Luck
If you call for more money, it is important to catch a job that pays resourcefully.

Your current boss may be a terrific person, but it is possible that a hot boss will be just as nice. Consider chitchat over the problem with your boss. If he believes that you are surrounded by line for a lift, then, your problem is solved.

If, however, no more money is forthcoming, look for a fresh job while you still enjoy this one.

Hope this helps.

Answer:
Everything in the service industry. Try plumbing.
stripping is other in...
Any of them except the network designer - they don't make that much money at the moment!

I would move about for the special effects and animator - people will other want to be amused!
You pretty much covered it and I also know that the trends are independent film companies to work for. Did you see the movie, "Scanner Darkly" ? - It's a great example of how they created a show for a lower budget as compared to the millions they would have to spend contained by order to create the effects that they did... It be all done by an independent animation department contained by which all the professions you've down played a part.

Keep the ambition and your dreams.

How much on average does a stripper achieve compensated??

Question:

Answer:
BARE ESSENTIALS
alot. i know someone who was a stripper.
it adjectives depends where you strip tho*-
if you strip surrounded by a big city, then you would be paid alot.
but if you live in a not-so-big city, later you prolly
wouldnt make as much.
My daughter used to do this for a living and would effortlessly come home with a well brought-up $1000 a night, some days weren't as perfect, but this was contained by California, and she was driving around within a "Brand New Mercedez Benz" from her income, living in Newport Beach, so there's pious money to be made and she also was competent to put herself through Real Estate School, to get out of the business. And the nice article about it, is if she's ever low on lolly , she can always dance back and caper for a night or two, to take home some quick spending money, within between selling houses, you know... She's now going for her "Broker's license from this type of work" and dont return with me wrong, I have other tried to get her out of doing this for a living, but she's an grown now, and will receive her own choices in go, regardless of what I have to vote about it, and I respect her decision's no concern what they are, or whether I like them or not, this doesn't adapt my relationship with her, or my unconditional Love for her! Either... Smile!!
Depending on the Agency you book near , there are a couple of situations. Information be from careers.com
1. If the dancer is salaried per dance/strip show. then the rate is approx 75.00 to 150.00
However From this the wardrowb payment is deducted as resourcefully as supplies used such as make-up apparatus usage etc. So the net brass earned could be as low as 50.00
2. Now for the right stuff. If the dancer is doing private dancing surrounded by a private room , then they may earn 500.00 per hour up to 1500 per dark in "TIPS" as resourcefully as extra tips from the dance floor. So surrounded by a night at top ceremony 2 dances and 5 private shows, the caper can walk away beside a net sum of 2500.00 per night.
Most dancers enjoy a net earings of 250 to 500.00 (Net After adjectives expenses ) after service fees, as cabs have to be salaried, set fees have to be salaried, drinks, and costume allowance. ( costumes for dancing are not cheap any. ) .
But if kept busy.. Like in any work.. if you work a full 10-12 hour day.. and 6 days a week. Then that would be approx . 3000- 4000 per week.. Not bleak if a person be to be astute and save the majority of that income.

Question:
i know for a fact that my previous employer will grant me a bad suggestion

Answer:
Depending on how many job you've had and how long you held this one, although you hold to list this one, try to focus on accurate recommendations from the previous employer. If this is your first job that you're departing, learn from the mistake(s) and try not to breed them again. As you may know, the basic entity required for most jobs is a resume. Be honest when you hand over your reason for departing. If it was an miserable circumstance between yourself and your last employer and especially if you obtain an interview and the interviewer asks, tell them what you did wrong and what you've gain, as a lesson, from your mistake(s). Don't try to be impressive--phony balony crap can be spotted a mile. Always be honest and sincere. It will always pinch you far.

I would close to to take a online home e class program and an inexpensive college. I really need some momentous information thank you I 'll rate yours the best ..I really dont want to wait to long to start a profession. I really wasn't the best student in math so will this effect me,or do you infer that some tutoring would help? pleas I really entail some mature realtiy info. Thank you ...

Answer:
You don't even requirement to go to university for it! A lot of people assume you enjoy to go to university to be a pharmacy technician but you don't. It's just a spend of time and money.

When I graduated high-ranking school I purchased two pharmacy technician books. One be a math book and the other was nonspecific pharmacy technician book (pharmacy law, helping the pharmacist, etc.) You can find both of these books online; nearby are several to chose from. I studied these books over the summer and then I took the soonest try-out and passed.

Make you you study though because when I took the test 4 years ago it be about $300 and it took close to 4 hours! So you definitely want to ratify it and not have to nick it over again!

Also, the math is REALLY easy. Even if you weren't a great math student it should affect you too impossible. Good luck to you!
In Texas you have to be certified. Just achieve a review book, and study, then pocket the exam. The math is not hard; it is purely proportions.

Why's it so knotty to find a living?

Question:
i graduated within january with a bachelors of social work and am finding it greatly hard to find a perfect job. even when i expect that i gave a perfect interview and meet the diploma (i even went for job that require no degree), i don't get it. is something wrong next to me?

Answer:
It is not inappropriate to ask for feedback from the employer more or less the reason you be not offered the job. Most will provide you beside some information. This would be useful to you as a fresh person out surrounded by the field. You also call for to consider the community you are in and how lots jobs are available how lots are applying etc. DA
economy is dismal, but continue creating opportunity for yourself and never quit
obviously because you dont misuse enough time online reading communication stories and creating personals ads...
Jobs are not easy to find because there are more job-seekers than nearby are jobs. Its as simple as that and its no culpability of yours either.
Getting your first career is a tough one. Getting a job surrounded by social work even tougher I would suspect. Perhaps you are not getting the others because you are now over qualified. I am sure in attendance is nothing wrong near you.

Good Luck.
i graduated ending may with a business level and im working a temporary consulting mission right now to gain some experienceemployers want experience.i applied to several job that said "entry level" in the description, i go in for interviews, thought i nail them, and they told me they persued other candidates that have more experience. 80% of the time, its not what you know, but who you know.try and network and find some connections
A. most job are not advertised within the paper - return with out and attend every networking event you can find -AND - print up business cards near your contact info and qualifications and foot them out to EVERYONE you meet
B. Volunteer within a field where on earth you are using your skills, it provides you with experience, and is better than sitting around
C. Make sure you are writing thank you follow ups, and research about the company prior to the interview so you can ask accurate questions
D. Consider using services of your school's occupation center - many can videotape your interview and submit pointers
E. Maybe your expectations arent in rank with veracity - my first job out of college stunk but you hold to hang surrounded by there and acquire that experience
is 'temp' or "PRN' work avaiable??
GOOD LUCK
Nothing wrong with you. You are in recent times entering the work force and like most inhabitants who are recent college grads this is generally the toughest time to attain your foot in the door. Once someone is prepared to hire you and you get a year of experience, you will find it much easier to gain work.

You said you have a bachelors within social work, are you specifically trying for social work only? If specifically the case, in that may be an over abundance of individuals wanting that type of position where you are. If you aren't limiting yourself (which would be a appropriate thing) look at the larger companies, they generally enjoy better training programs and are more willing to hire relatives right out of college.

The other thing is, call upon back the interviewers and ask for some candid feedback. Most won't be possible to do it, but one might, if they are don't argue with their reasoning, utter thank you. If it's something you can work on, then do. Things that you can work on include chitchat to much, interupting the interviewer, being long winded or too short winded, wearing the wrong type of clothes, anyone better prepared, etc.

Other things to take into consideration is if you smoke, and smell strongly of smoke contained by the interview that is an direct turn off to frequent employers. Consider not smoking the year of the interview, chew nicorette or put on a patch. Febreeze your interview clothes etc.

Without more information it's hard to serve you specifically, but you are getting interviews, so you are doing something right. So just hang on to plugging away.
Do you have any experience? Many employer want experienced applicants and unless you're applying for entry level job, you're being shut out by ethnic group with more experience. You voice you want a "good job". Make sure you're not aiming too high-ranking. Everybody has to start at the bottom of their grazing land and that means lower paying job. If you are applying for jobs that salary a nice salary and don't enjoy the matching experience, next no matter how personable you are your probability of getting the job are slim.

As for the interview process itself, fashion sure you're dressing professionally - no jeans or sneakers, neatly groomed, and deed professionally during the interview. Don't talk too much, don't slouch, don't ask around salary contained by the first interview, etc.

Also, your degree is surrounded by social work - there are heaps specialties in that grazing land. Have you decided what specific areas interest you and are you going after those job? Or are you wandering around clueless as to what you want to be when you grow up? (I'm 49 and still don't know what I want to be when I grow up, but I tell relatives I want to be an accountant and I find jobs as an accountant till I amount out what to do next.) Research the specific professions you are interested contained by, then assess your skills to see which ones would qualify you for that type of career.

If you believe in yourself and know what your strengths are, you call for to be able to communicate that to a potential employer, and your confidence contained by yourself will help them believe you're the right creature for the job.
First of adjectives, let me only congratulate you on your worthy accomplishment! You have amalgamated the rank of the top 25% who achieve this goal. Those who procure their degrees contained by a lifetime are about 1 surrounded by 4 so you didn't just pummel those odds, you crushed them! So generosity to the party, comrade! Pull up a chair, receive a cup, and put your tears in it! I am surrounded by the same boat you're contained by. I've been where on earth you've been (still going through it). I graduate with a scope in Business surrounded by May 2004, which added to my other two Associates' Degrees (Business and Comp. Sci.) that i already have. Nothing is wrong near you. It may be because of where you are that's desperate. You may want to look into relocating. That's always an added bonus. I am. Where i am (Detroit) a short time ago isn't doing it for me anymore. The West Coast and the South are practically on fire! If you want to stick it out where on earth you are, keep looking. But remember that's it's not going to be uncomplicated. A friend of mine graduated next to a Masters' degree surrounded by Social Work and had trouble finding a errand that would cater to that degree.

There are more available job seekers than jobs. That's the problem. It's in recent times like have enough question, but not enough answers.

No room for grow.
Many years in present undertaking, no learning, too boring.
Being underpay / underestimate.

o Not given projects that will allow you to grow professionally
o Better opportunity arises somewhere else
o If attitude from your supervisor/boss change and you all of a sudden find yourself out of the loop...increase your duty search.

I work at RalphsGrocery store.I work extraordinarily knotty at my position as a courtesy c .But I am extremely stressed at work

Question:
I am very stressed at work because the store director doesn't hire plenty help for my shift.I be able to transport "stress leave" from work when the previous store director was within because it was really stressful final the and my doctor approved it.He said that if I needed to take "stress give up agin,he would approve it. i took it for for months back afterwards.I don't really want to go on stress disappear again , but I know that it is getting really stressful wor me to work there anymore.i do really want to find another job,of late so that I don't have nearly as stressed. When I get hold of home,I don't feel similar to doing anything, let alone apply for another assignment. What advice do you enjoy for me?

Answer:
Too much work and not enough population to do it, hmmmm sounds like most job these days. You must know that the stress you are feeling is self created by you. (sure, sure the customers are unhappy, stock is piling up, things aren't getting done, yah, yah) YOU are cause your own stress. It is the store directors job to run his store. If things are not getting done it is his problem. The solitary thing you CAN do is be the best courtesy c. possible. If the customers are upset because something over which you hold no control isn't to their liking, simply be kind and nice and treat them exactly indistinguishable way you would close to to be treated. Do what ever is appropriate, but you, my friend, are not personally responsible for what ever is screwed up.

I have a guy once in your same predicament, and he handle it beautifully. The customers be coming to me saying "Joe is a great guy, but he isn't competent to do everything I need done, can you please hire some more citizens?' (BTW the answer was "no" for reason Joe and the customers didn't agree with, but I'm rewarded to be a director and sometimes say no.) I really like how he handled the issue. The customers be not unhappy next to Joe, they were depressed with me. If they have been depressed with him I would enjoy had two problems.

I know its tough to not adopt responsibility for things when the customers are unhappy, but adjectives you have to do control what you can and consent to the rest go. Finally everyday when I quit my job I stop only just outside the door and mentally drop my day's problems on the door step. They'll be waiting for me when I return. I try not to carry adjectives of my problems with me everywhere I progress.
If you think this situation is too much...you are gonna be in for a big surprise if you ever catch promoted. Stress only get worse.
http://easymoneymakingcareer.blogspot.co...
It doesn't sound as if it is going to draw from better. I think you are merely afraid to leave your comfort zone. Store manager are paid bonuses base on how much money they KEEP, not how much is spent. Of course they are going to keep the staff low when they can bring back away with it. Find another work for your health and mind.

what do you do when you are training someone how to do your work, but your getting compensated 2.50 hrly lower?

Question:

Answer:
Hopefully you are interviewing for another job! This up to date person that you are training may be obtain training in hopes of getting your position some morning. Not saying this is the luggage but in enthusiasm as human beings we have adjectives got to be perceptive and realistic just about where we stand within different aspects of our lives.

Don't know what line of work you are contained by but it is a good conception to know what's out there surrounded by terms of finding a topical job.
tutor them to do it wrong and then deny it.
You punch them within the face and steal their lunch money.
Well, you don't complain in the order of it. Discussing rates of pay is mostly grounds for dismissal. How do you "know" this?

You can always ask for a lift up based on the certainty that you do your job capably enough to train someone else.

The certainty that you've worked there longer doesn't necessarily parsimonious that you're more qualified than the other person. That soul may have more rearing or experience, or more potential with the company than you hold.
We live in an undeserved world .. maybe the being you are training has papers that allow him to win paid more than you. Maybe you should capture a degree if you own none or get a better one if you already do. Experience is not everything in this world, its a combination of both.
You do your livelihood and show your employer you're taking on more challenges and responsibilities and negotiate a bump up. You may be the only party available to train this new hand and they may have prior experience from a similar position hence have a slightly higher wage.
What's wrong next to this picture, you might ask? Well, it depends. Is this person your replacement, so you will return with promoted. Or are you quitting your job? If it's the latter, consequently who cares, you're going to depart anyway. Otherwise, I think you should bring it up to your superior and constraint a wage increase to match or better.
You should verbalize to your boss and ask him why you are not getting a higher wage than the modern person... or if you are really displeased next to your job and your wages, you should force out for a new undertaking that is better suited for you.
try not to push them down the stairs
You train the other party how to do your job to the best of your ability without complaining going on for it and without asking for a angle. You negotiate the raise subsequently after the boss sees how in good health the new personality is trained.
Keep in mind that this fresh person you are training might also be your backup surrounded by case you are out of the bureau.
