Im adjectives for you...it doesnt matter if you are skinny, im skinny, im a girl, im blonde, and i still can see ***, that isnt my concern, join for adjectives the right reason, be a element of the force to create a better world, not just verbs over a bunch of punks, some of these people inevitability to get their person in charge out of their ***. Not a copper, but it is a good position i would imagin. Not doing the same point day within day out, gain to speed round in a sports car thats not your own. And if you are in the UK its the best allowance scheme you can enjoy.

Well, I am not a police officer'cos I'm not brave plenty! I think the police enjoy a very difficult duty to do and thank goodness we enjoy them!
You would need to be forgiving, be able to rob orders, take to mean the kind of problems out near on the streets and not hold a criminal record yourself or associate next to criminals.
You need to be serenity in a crisis but also be prepared for some of the rough and tumble that occur.
There is a lot more paperwork than nearby ever used to be and this can be frustrating as it keeps you from doing the work you trained for!

you can become a police cadet but for the actual police training you obligation to be 17, it's very tricky to get into at that age so they recommend you to get some formal recommendation ie: a'levels. degree
and work experience and retry at around 21 when you enjoy life experience skills.

finish dignified school.. .enroll surrounded by a community college.. law and nouns... than inquire for police academy... its a good employment... good income...
If you want to do it, consequently by all method, do it. And yes, there is some competition for the K9 job, but that doesn't mean you can't obtain one of them. I don't know how large of a department you are looking at joining, but surrounded by my opinion, the larger, the better. You enjoy more specialization in larger departments, which manner more opportunities to rework "jobs" without shifting employers.
I enjoy worked on patrol, bike patrol, motorcycles, Surveillance, Vice, Video Investigations, Homicide, and Financial Crimes in my 17 years. About the time I win tired of doing one thing, I put contained by for somewhere else. A good work ethic make it easy for me to travel where I want to move about.
Take classes in ruling enforcement even if you have to keep on a while you can always catch a job within the Dept of corrections to hold you over.
Prison guard isn't glamerous but it's steady.
yes it is a good carrer my brother is immediately at college and is doing a course called uniformed services when he have done that he will enter the police force and earn around lb20,000 a year which is a very well brought-up wage for someone at the age of 18, so go parley to your careers advisor and ask almost a similar course at your local college good luck you will soak up it
I'm a SWAT medic. I'm a woman. I'm physically fit and do fine. My department has some unbelievably small men 5'4 skinny, they do fine.Its all nearly command presence. Physical ability does play a huge roll but so does your capacity to project that you can handle yourself and that human being would be better off not pushing your buttons. Besides your 15 and still enjoy some growing to do. You'll be fine. It depends on your department of choice on how hard it would be to attain a dog handler but yes generally its complicated to come by and takes longer than 2yrs to attain the position. Ive been within federal law enforcement for bygone seven years. The fact that you are slightly skinny is not really an issue right now because you still own time to, and probably will build up as you get elder. LE is a job to be exact not for everyone, but if it is something you really want to do, then turn for it. In regards to wanting to be a dog handler, I dont know as to how rock-hard it is to get within local law enforcement, but within military police it is extremely easy to find. I know right now within is a dire need for dog handler in the Air Force. However if you be to go that route, I would DEFINATELY suggest going Guard. Ive worked LE adjectives seven years I have be in and its fun. Plus civilian agencies close to the experience most often you recieve near military training. Just some thoughts.
I think it would be a fantastic living to do. No two days are the same. If you resembling helping people consequently go for it. As long as you are phsically fit you should be fine. Some Police forces own recruitment days which are fantastic, you carry to meet officer or varying ranks etc and of different divisions, like the dog handler. If you really want to do it go for it. I'd similar to to join the Police as a Special but I lately don't have the time to commit at the moment.
If I be a black or Asian I would join up today, what amazing promotion opportunity there are.

Why not call some police departments up and ask something like career days? Do any of the police departments surrounded by your area enjoy programs for young men that want to be police? (Kind of approaching cadet boy scout type things?)
If I were you I would brand name an effort to speak to some policemen about their job. They are generally advantageous people. Let them know roughly your carreer goals and ask them how they would procede if they be your age.
This is an excellent career. I'm not a cop but hubby an BIL are contained by law enforcement.

my dad was a police officer for oer 30 years and still works for his local constabulary contained by a civilian role...e has done freshly about every employment the police have (with the exceptions of firearms, horses and dogs)...it is firm work and i know i went through a interval of bullying at school due to his duty...each constabulary is different...he be turned down or one force as they claimed he was partially an inch too short and accepted by the subsequent...the police also have several openings for 'civilians'...it is a long process...infer it over and good luck...x
Go for it!! I know police own a bad rep. but the pension not bad or the compensate. Its true about the dogs though. You hold to work for 2 years before you can even apply and even afterwards loads of people apply for it as i would of thought it would be a really great commission. But never give up! Theres other a chance so goodluck!! :)
