Ha ha- that's so funny- You're still so young to be worried in the region of being too dated for college- You're never too old to edify yourself! I'm almost 35 and felt that I would be inappropriate too- but there's nearly always someone close by my age in at most minuscule one of my classes- sometimes older! By the time I've finished my Master's I'll be around 40, but a long time ago I stopped worrying going on for that.
As for the felony- that may be a hurdle for you to get over, but remember that you're increasing your likelihood of being employable when you own a degree.
