Sally's actual title had be Lead Cashier, even though she managed her own retail cashiering station surrounded by addition to 6 other cashiers and stations. Once Sally have created her original resume, it merely took about 5 minutes to tweak and relabel her skill descriptions to fit Retail Management positions. This "relabeling" is entirely truthful and is extremely key in landing more interviews because it allows duty seekers to apply for, and look qualified for, a wider range of job
Here's what you do: Have a friend read your resume, time how long it takes to read, and hand over you an honest opinion something like the content. Give them a copy they can write on and "red ink". I say, hold on to it to the one page, going from your most recent job BACK. That will knock out some of the not-so-hot positions you have when you started working and you can give smaller amount information on those. Also, check your margains. Even a small adjustment might give your a bit more space.

If a potential employer has to labor over your resume, they will toss it. You can count on it. Great grill, by the way! One that will assist others..I like that. Godloveya.
Eliminate any repetitive information from chore to job. Target every word to the opening you are seeking. Never use two words when one word will do.

Why say adjectives that? If you can keep your resume to one page, you're better bad, especially if you are too wordy or repetitive.

If you have eliminate all the things down above and your resume is focused on the one job for which you are inquiring, then two page is fine.

Do not list reference on the resume, either. Don't even refer to them. Create a separate page for reference and take them beside you to the interview.
