I have education of a woman using drugs. She works for the county as a family counselor, which entail going to the families homes or to seeing the children at the school. I believe she poses risk as a family counselor. Should I report it to her employer or not ?

First, take home sure there is some plain truth to this rumor before hurting this woman's career. What are the facts and who is making these allegations? Is it personal? If you feel they are true afterwards report the woman. Give her employer all the facts. The employer can not simply pilfer action minus credible information. You may not want to give your pet name, but you should. You also need to provide the name of other witnesses. It is a hard entry to do, but we must all be responsible citizens. Using criminal drugs in a position of trust and responsibility is wrong. It compromises the firm and the family she works with. How is she going to counsel family about meaningful values and principles when she is not.

Yes you should. It's important to adjectives of those involved. Hopefully her employer will try to help her instead of only just kicking her out on her butt.

I would tell the employer that you THINK she might be & that they should look into it, but solely do this if you can
trust that the employer will believe you, look into it & you will not lose your job after unfolding them about this

Only if you are Absolutely, 100% percent positive that she is using drugs, while at work or working with children and own proof. If the drug you are referring to is marijuana then perchance you should talk beside her. If it is a prescription drug or other 'hard drug' you can suggest counseling or an addiction recovery program.
