You must do 2 things STRAIGHT AWAY.
If you and your colleague BOTH discern that you are being bullied; both stir to see the Managers Manager or your HR Manager together, and get "on the record" together of cliché that you are being bullied.
Its bloody to do it; but also keep a written diary of his bullying demeanour; date, time, content of insult/slight, tone of voice, which can be used later surrounded by a hearing against him.

However, what I would articulate is, you will always see race doing the "wrong" thing and at times they may earn more commission than you, so that may grind you down.
