Scared of a trial profession...why?

I'm starting a new position next week. I know I am qualified for it, it is freshly a word processing/typing job. And I hold been a secretary/receptionist for 5 years at different places. I am fearful though. It is a temp, but long term. I didn't want to stay surrounded by the temp area, but my current livelihood is ending contained by a week, and I have no other offer and need a chore. This new one pays greatly well for what the position is.

The point that worries me is they described the environment similar to high academy...a lot of gossipy women within an a larger office setting.
