As a tutor for my university's EMT course, I can utter you're actually lucky to be taking it presently, because the Registry just started doing computerized carrying out tests at the start of 2007. (Basically that means that you'll grasp your results in in the order of 2 days instead of waiting 4 to 6 weeks like I did).
Anyways, don't sweat it. You enjoy a lot of time to prepare, so start reviewing your action (assuming you've taken them!), and if you're taking the course with other relatives, set up study groups. The latest Mosby EMT manual has a fantastic check prep section effective the back-see if you can grab it.
As for the written (guessing they'll christen it the online test very soon?), all I can utter is study. My written was really logical, and I'm pretty sure the Registry will be applying the same guard of questions to their online version, so make sure that you can interpret facts like blood pressures, blood loss percentage, the rule of nines, etc.
Again though, don't sweat it! The day back you take the testing, go out and reward yourself near a good dinner and a movie. (Lay sour the alcohol, of course...massive hangover+licensing exam=bad times.) :P

Are you taking the national registry for core or medic? Assuming it is basic here is what I would suggest. Make sure you know adjectives of your basic plane information for maintaining the ABCs and spinal immobilization. Make sure you know your pedi information. Know adjectives of the normal imperative sign ranges for your different ages. Know your OB information. The national really likes pedi and OB question. Also, know your signs and symptoms of shock, and know the order surrounded by which they appear. Know what signs are early and tardy. Know how to treat shock. Basics only stipulation to worry roughly speaking a couple of drugs (charcoal, epipens, NTG, oral glucose, and albuterol if I remember correctly) but be sure to know the doses, routes, indications, and contraindications for each drug. Make sure you know your CPR and AED information. Know your S/S and treatments for your different environmental emergency. Past that, just remember to suggest ABC for every question. If you answer the question based on the ABCs, you should do fine. Don't pinch the test weakly. The national registry is a difficult test, but it is not too bleak so long as you study. Good luck.

Well I don't think it is right...but...what be your duties? If the lifting restrictions would not allow you to perform your errand then they enjoy the option to not hire you full time.
