I'm 15 and necessitate a brief?
Question:
I'm 15 years old and live contained by Ontario, Canada. I want a job...I'm busy next to school but after college and weekends are free. I am a grade 10 student and own never had a charge.
How can I get one...?
What shoudl I include on my resume?
Any other tips?
Please sustain, I need some extra money...
Answer:
i'm 16(living contained by Toronto, Ontario, Canada) and i'm looking for a job too and never have one either!so i really know how u touch and it's all like peas in a pod for me, on sats i volounteer though from 11-3 so the rest of the day i'm prepared to work and sundays too, PLUS 2 WEEKDAYS... give within resumes(include ur experiences, achievements, memberships) from my own experience i will narrate u that ALWAYS at all times look and behave professionaly and polite, u never know when u will see the controller pop up when u wanna give within your resume or if you're done filling the application form, sometimes i saw the organizer right on the spot and at first i totally freaked out cuz i wasn't ready to see them right but after i tried to cool off so know this from in a minute, i'm warning you :P that you MIGHT be capable of see the manager contained by the store or they might be strolling around so be ready to move out a very perfect first impression, dont forget please+thank you and at first articulate nice to meet you to them. Best to look surrounded by places that are having mission fairs or they hold signs saying "NOW HIRING OR WANTED" loaf 3 weeks after u give ur resume+application if u dont obtain any call YOU own to call them, this will show that u are determinded to receive the job. If you finally seize an interview, be early, dawdle to be asked to sit down, have a pious handshake, speak loud and clearly, argue good eye contact and posture, and dont play next to stuff that's all it necessarily takes, well brought-up luck and remember to never give up and save trying cuz one day somehow sooner or latter you WILL find a job, u a moment ago have to be long-suffering and do the best you can but i suggest that before u attain a job try to volunteer as much as u can cuz even though u never have work experience volunteer IS like work experience minus the money so some employers will be impressed by how much volounteer experience u own, it shows that u care in the order of the community and therefore it looks accurate on your resume. Try places like MacDonalds, Wendys or perchance even Tim Hortons, they usually need and hire youthful people within ur age too. Best of luck!
Get a work permit from institution. Best to work at a restaurant Include on your resume your grades, school deeds, maybe capture a reference from one of your teacher. You may want to be a waiter, in a angelic restaurant, you can make obedient tips if you take perfect care of your customer.
here within the usa you have to be 16 to find a job surrounded by most cases how ever there are summer work programes for 14 to 15 year olds i dont know how it is within canada but when i was a kid we go over our nighborhood and offered to help hose cars and mow lawns rake leaves and sweep sidewalks we used our hands to do our best work some times adjectives we got be a soft drink for our efforts but it be a good expearance and you can write up a resume by putting down that you enjoy not worked before but catalogue what you do know how to do like courtyard work or house chores that you can do list your grades they are unbelievably important some times you can produce a good imprssion by your honest answers even beside out a work history remember to include your student work performace because as of now that is to say your job and an alternative thing don't lose focse because of rejection hold on to trying that is one of the hardest things but within the long run your attitude will detrmine how far you go

Help beside my boss?
Question:
I made some mistakes at work this week. I have be in trouble everyday. This is my carrer and I cant lose my position. What can I do to make things suitable with my boss in need kissing her @ss?
Answer:
If you haven't already, just sit privately near her, and make a legal, heart-felt appology. I have found that when I rob the initiative to confront my boss, and admit my fault, she is able to respect me more as an hand. Of course, you want to be strong and not break down in front of her and what own you. You just want to come across as appologetic, sincere, professional and seasoned.
I know it is hard when you've have a bad week and you are opinion really down on yourself. We all can't be ultimate. Admitting your faults and confronting them aren't graceful either. But, pocket it from me because I speak from experience. You can move on from "screw ups" and your duty can still be protected. You just want to label sure you are careful not to repeat the mistakes you've made and up to that time you know it things will return to normal, and you'll be backbone in your dated routine again. Chin up buck-a-roo! ;o)
just focus better and try your best. that's adjectives u can do.
i'd say, depends on what sympathetic of mistakes you've been making. you may want to concentrate more on what you are doing to avoid making those mistakes. pilfer your time. this way, you wouldn't hold to kiss her @ss.
Try getting to work an hour before you are suposed to be in attendance, some times an early get on the day help to slow things down. Good luck.
It really depends on the type of mistakes you are making, and what your definition of "in trouble" mechanism. If your boss is only giving you looks, I'd read out your not in trouble. But if you are getting write ups, later yes, you are in trouble. Learn from your mistakes, and don't do them again. If you don't get the message something, ask. Your boss is there to bequeath you guidance, not punish you, but he/she won't know if you don't ask.
You really need to supply more information...what type of work it is, what mistakes you hold made, what the "trouble" is your getting into, before I can really endow with you advice.
Go enjoy a talk near her. Sometimes a simple chat on a one on one basis give or take a few what has happend might minister to make ammends. Let her know that you are aware of your mistakes and what you are doign to correct them and prevent further ones within the future. Don't administer her "excuses" though, anyone can makes those up.

Answer:
Don't nose-dive to the temptation of getting involved surrounded by the office talk, you don't' know for sure they were chitchat about you, you get that info second or third hand.
If you don't resembling the job, look for something strange. Most people hold one or two short term job on their resume, because they didn't make a dutiful decision.
Make a record of what you want in a company, what you are trying to avoid and what you can live beside. Then when you start interviewing ask the difficult questions to an employer. They will usually close to your candidness and you will get the information you requirement to make a smart craft move.
More than easy
Make most 1000 dollars a week.
Make jumbo chocolate covered strawberries near nuts on a Popsicle stick. At the mall they are 5$ a chocolate covered strawberry, market 30 a day respectively one is 2$ and you will make 60$ a afternoon if you sell adjectives of them. And in a week you will receive 420$.
and a month 2,520$
a year 30,240$ damn you could by a house. Sell like 60 a sunshine
and in a year 60,480$.

A interview roughly speaking work. Would you to some extent work for a company that you abhorrence?
Question:
but like your co-workers or work for a company that you close to but hate your co-workers.
The rate will be the same no thing what.
Answer:
Well I don't have a commission... and I've only 13 but my science coach, (who gets sour topic a lot) told us about this man he unsullied who really hated his opportunity. It paid greatly of money, but he hated it so much that he would truly cry on his way to work. But primarily they moral was, you shouldn't obtain a job if its something you antipathy because you really should be getting a job that you relish, you'll fell better i think. Im pretty sure that's wut my science tutor was trying to read aloud...
a company i hateif i don't get along next to my coworkers, I'm not going to want to go to work enormously much.
Thats a hard interview.
but i would probaby work for a comany I love.
and you will probaby find someone you like.
To see Wendy Williams: your co-workers are just folks that get rewarded along with you and aren't your friends. I tend to agree beside that statement; will your co-workers quit because you did? Not in my experience (well, solely one time). Clarify further: what do you hate around the company or co-workers?
I would work for a company I hate. Co-workers are your troop if you can not relate with them your livelihood would be unbearable. You spend more time near people you work next to then your own family at times.
I would rather work for a company that I abhorrence but with co-workers that I resembling. I have an bureau job and own constant interaction with other ethnic group. My job sucks adequate as it is - I can't imaging hating everyone that I work next to.
I would have the race that you like move about with you to the other company!
I would a bit work with culture I like, as they are ones I own to deal next to on a day to light of day basis.
I worked for a company call Phones Plus for almost a year as an assistant manager...I insufferable it. However; I am a very friendly personage, and everyone I hired was friendly too, so we adjectives got along great. It be probably one of the smoothest jobs I ever have, because everyone got along. I would fairly have averyone grasp along than work for a company I loved where everyone is trying to acquire the person surrounded by front of them canned. Been at hand, done that, no thanks!
Do you hold to truly attend a academy to become a Medical Transcriptionist?
Question:
If so, would having be taught contained by Medical Assistant school qualify? If no schooling is required can I study myself and steal the test to become certified. I can type over 70 wpm, and am currently and LPN, so I own the medical backround and terminology. This course be also taught as constituent of my Medical Assistant class, which I took many years ago, and be always interested contained by.
Answer:
I paid for a course to appropriate at home. It was supposed to be a angelic school, but I am in the middle done and cannot get the university to grade my final and authorize the program (disc) that be part of the program which I remunerated for to allow me to complete it. So, be careful. Good luck.
I reflect on with you bieng an LPN, they might look at your expierence within the field. Then once you carry in you could appropriate classes and get certified. I consider in the chore hunt if you have the expierence you own some benefit than somone without.
"Mental Illness" and the F.B.I.?
Question:
I have a cross-examine in regard to what type of mental illnesses are considered automatically disqualifying when applying for a job next to the FBI. For example, I was interested surrounded by a career near the FBI as either a psychological profiler or something to do next to analyzing people, as I would find that employment interesting and rewarding. Not to mention I've been told by numerous teacher, counselors, etc. that I'd be perfect for that generous of occupation. The only problem is that within 7th grade I have a phobia of head lice (I know, how illogical!). The school accomodated me by putting my on home instruction next to a tutor for a year, but it turned out that the tutor realized that I wasn't mortal challenged satisfactory in college, and I was double promoted that summer (skipping 8th level and going directly to 9th). My question is, very soon that I'm completely over that, is that still considered disqualifying, as in psychologically unstable? I never took medication for it or anything, if that matter. Thank you!
Answer:
they would prob look into your background etc but that isnt something that would deter them from hiring you; other things close to your stability etc. everyone has phobias.
I expect you'd be ok. it was 7th order. it was come first lice. it doens't sound close to a big deal. I don`t know say obsession instead of phobia.
naaah, upi'll ber fine.
why are you asking this on YA! and do you really think they would ever even find out, it be 7th grade
I cogitate the psychological disturbance that would disqualify you is termed surrounded by the DSMR III as
undercoverphobia, schizagentfrenia
Can't answer for the FBI, but I have experience next to screening for a security clearance and I can report to you this: in broad, when you are being screen, the screeners are looking for things that indicate that you have a want of stability, which could cause you to compromise payment or foul up operations; or things that could trademark you vulnerable to blackmail. It doesn't nouns like your chief lice phobia qualifies on any count, especially since it was long ago and you (presumably) hold many years of stable behavior at the back you.
One caution: you may be tempt to not report this issue when you are filling out your clearance paperwork. DO NOT LIE BY OMISSION. While a olden history of minor mental issues, now resolved, and a history of stable behavior since the episode is extremely unlikely to be disqualifying, lying around it either by omission or commision is almost to be sure going to disqualify you. You may think that it's unlikely that anyone will find out something like it unless you tell the screeners, but it isn't worth the back.
Good luck to you.

im going ot be waitressing at a strip club, i involve lolly tangible desperate, do you own any thoguhts on?
Question:
money ill label, well not exactly how much, but if off-colour make appropriate money, i really wanted to bartend but they want to try me as a waitress first to payment my dues. UNfortuanately, they already asked me if id approaching to strip and i said not for all the money contained by the world.
But i dont know if this waitressing will be orth it. Its at the biggest club in the state...but i dont know..
Answer:
You will breed plenty of money waitressing. Don't worry more or less it.
Why not try it? You can always quit if its not for u.
If your worried going on for the work environment, why not find a waitress job some where on earth else? If your good, you'll manufacture good money anywhere.
I be a waitress for nearly 30 years and you always earn more tips contained by a drinking establishment than you do in a restaurant. I conjecture you can make more as a waitress than a bartender too. The waitresses enjoy to tip out the bartender, not the other way around, for a judgment. It's definately fast bread and I would guess in a strip club you would predictable do well. Just don't draw from caught up contained by it and make it a occupation because you are just a number and you will find that if you no longer work here, you have no payment with pension or anything. It's very thorny work and only change rewards, not a career.
Second interview tomorrow, what should I expect (Mortgage bank)?
Question:
I had an interview today that go very economically with the recruiter. The position is at a general mortgage lending company. I enjoy a second interview with the regional checker tomorrow. In today's interview we went over the typical question..."what did you do in this scenario," "report to me about a time when you..." What go on during a second interview? What should I be prepared for?
Answer:
When they invite you for a second interview, that means they already granted you have the diploma for the job. The second interview usually is to trade name sure you will fit in, are interested contained by the job, and can also shine above other candidate in ease about the opening and the company.
So - you might be asked more personal questions (biggest pet peeve, strengths, weaknesses, etc.). You might be asked more specific question about the chore, so do more research on their web site.
You might also hear more details almost the job itself. They will show you around to produce sure you know what you're getting into and to find out if you're serious about it.
Don't forget that interviews are a two-way interview. You are also interviewing them give or take a few the position. So ask all the question you can think around. Salary, benefits, office moral, dress code, everything.
It is a sale job, you love associates, you know tons of people, you never furnish up, your biggest downer is that you are a workaholic
The problem with expectations and the adjectives is that is lately a big guessing game and 90% of the time you guess wrong. Try this, it other works for me: Imagine that you are collecting unemployment insurance and you are making ends congregate and you don't actually want to capture a job because you are enjoy your vacation and freedom from the 9 to 5, but you own to go on interviews or the EDD will cut you sour. All the time you are being interviewed, lately keep thinking, "Oh please don't proposition me this job, oh please don't . . ." Works similar to a charm.
Be prepared to meet the C-level body (CTO, CFO etc...).
Also, not sure what time your interview is at but, be prepared to go to lunch/dinner near them. (Order something easy to munch through - not too sloppy). They may ask you questions next to a mouth full of food. lol
Expect some of the same question, but from different personnel.
I included a web site below. Good luck!
Looking at when you posted this you should enjoy already had your interview. I hope it go well!
I would recomend, person a new human being in the business, to listen to Dave and J on the Dave and J Show. They enjoy a radio show and they are the best!. they cover everything you need to know roughly mortgages and more. You can ask them questions and they will answer them on the heavens. These guys are pro's! I have intellectual a lot from these guys and you would too.
I am starting wedding/event planning business and will be need planners. How do I money them?
Question:
What is the commission rate do planners receive from their employer? Should I pay them hourly, per event or hourly plus commision? What is the hourly rate to discharge planners? Please Help!
Answer:
pay the lower even employees who do more grunt work - similar to making invitations and putting things together - hourly. ($15-$25 an hour depending on experience and task) Offer a bonus to employees who bring you modern clients. Don't play with commission unless you hire citizens full time and they are more like partner.
Since I'm not in this type of business I wouldn't know instinctively, but do your homework. Check out what other businesses pay for a celebratory planner. When you call narrate them that you're a beginner planner and would close to to know how a planner gets remunerated. Another thing is when you hire for the position is to check the resume and see what experience is here on paper and to ask the creature what they're salary recommendation are. Good luck!
What exactly does a Physical Therapy Assistant do?
Question:
also, do u have to hold plenty of knowledge to do this opening??
PLEASE GIVE JOB DESCRIPTION!!!...
Answer:
It will vary a touch bit from state to state as to what the laws are, but surrounded by general, a PTA designs and implements treatment programs after a physical psychiatric therapist has assessed the merciful as to what functional deficits have need of to be addressed and how. For instance, a physical psychoanalyst may evaluate a patient who have shoulder pain and have determined it is due to an inefficient rotator cuff. It has be found that suprasinatus is the mainly artificial muscle, but that muscles that control the scapula such as lower trapezius has also be affected. The merciful is also having seriously of pain and swelling. The physical psychiatric therapist is recommending a course of strengthening exercises to the artificial muscles as well as electrical stimulation to address the dull pain and swelling.
At this point, the job of the PTA would be to come up beside specific exercises to address these muscles and apply the modality. They will also be responsible for teaching the forgiving what exercises to complete at home.
This is an over-simplified version of what a PTA does as it will swing between setting to setting. The will be directly involved in learning pateints how to regain their mobility and funciton such as learning how to stride, get out of bed, how to abet their back twinge.
In a nutshell, a PTA does just in the region of everything that a PT does, except for assessment.
The PTA has to enjoy strong interpersonal skills and knowlege about anantomy and physiology. The program heavily emphasize excersise sciences and patient exactness techniques. The physical psychiatric therapist does this as well, but also learn how to evaluate the patient. Both are licensed professionals, but the PTA amount is an associates level amount and the PT degree is very soon either an MS or doctorate smooth degree.
Is truck driving a legal available job?
Question:
Does truck driving pay ably and what are the ups and downs of truck driving?
Answer:
For now, until the illegitimate aliens are given driver's licenses.
yes
the ups to commercial truck driving is the money. the downs side is the long hours/days/weeks spent doing a tour away from family
While not considered thoroughly prestigious, truck driving, especially semi trucks for freight companies and delivery services, is a exceptionally legitimate, within demand, and exalted job.
Trucks run North America, its a plain and simple certainty.
The biggest problems with truck driving are that the hours away from home are fearful, and that there is a net and advancement ceiling you will hit quickly -- which will cut your advancement option.
Most trucking company's do pay their drivers in good health. The upside is that you get to travel the country beside some company's, meet tentative ppl. But i think that here are more downs than ups. The downs are if you have a relations than you are always doing a tour. And you wont have time to droop out or whatever. Also you enjoy to be really careful around if you stop and pick up ppl or when you stop to rest stops. But they do pay ably and great benefits.
One of my friends and his wife got their commercial license and had to pocket a special class. They said it's fun to do if you have a partner resembling that because by switching off and on you can stay doing a tour almost contiunously. Apparently there is deeply of money to be made and you get to see closely of different places. Sounds like a really cool opportunity. But if your by yourself I bet it is pretty lonely.
Join the prodigious elite of truck drivers that work complicated for the interests of the country. Truck drivers are a constant presence on the Nation’s highways and interstates. They deliver everything from automobiles to can food. Firms of all kind rely on trucks to pick up and deliver goods because no other form of transportation can deliver merchandise door-to-door. Even if some goods travel most of the course by ship, train, or airplane, almost everything is carried by trucks at some point in its passage.
Overall employment of truck drivers and driver/sales workers is expected to increase about as hurriedly as the average for all occupation through the year 2014.
Median hourly earnings of cloying truck and tractor-trailer drivers were $16.11 contained by May 2004. The middle 50 percent earned between $12.67 and $20.09 an hour. The lowest 10 percent earn less than $10.18, and the untouchable 10 percent earned more than $24.07 an hour. Median hourly profits in the industries employ the largest numbers of heavy truck and tractor-trailer drivers within May 2004 were:
General freight trucking $17.56
Grocery and related product wholesalers 17.32
Specialized freight trucking 15.61
Employment services 14.82
Cement and concrete product commerce 14.47
Median hourly earnings of neutral or delivery services truck drivers be $11.80 in May 2004. The middle 50 percent earn between $8.96 and $16.00 an hour. The lowest 10 percent earned smaller amount than $7.20, and the highest 10 percent earn more than $20.83 an hour. Median hourly earnings contained by the industries employing the largest numbers of street lamp or delivery services truck drivers contained by May 2004 were:
Couriers $17.94

Building stuff and supplies dealers 10.85
Automotive parts, accoutrements, and tire stores 8.07
Median hourly earnings of driver/sales workers, including commissions, be $9.66 in May 2004. The middle 50 percent earn between $6.94 and $14.59 an hour. The lowest 10 percent earned smaller number than $5.96, and the highest 10 percent earn more than $19.81 an hour. Median hourly earnings contained by the industries employing the largest numbers of driver/sales workers contained by May 2004 were:
Drycleaning and laundry services $14.67
Direct selling establishments 13.55
Grocery and related product wholesalers 12.36
Limited-service intake places 6.77
Full-service restaurants 6.59
Local truck drivers tend to be paid by the hour, beside extra pay for working overtime. Employers pay packet long-distance drivers primarily by the mile. The per-mile rate can vary greatly from employer to employer and may even depend on the type of luggage they are hauling. Some long-distance drivers are paid a percent of respectively load’s revenue. Typically, earnings increase near mileage driven, seniority, and the size and type of truck driven. Most driver/sales workers receive commissions based on their sale in rider to their hourly wages. http://www.bls.gov/oco/ocos246.htm...
I think it pays economically. If you drive someone else's truck for their company, you dont make as much. But as expected, you dont have to rate the insurance on the truck, or repair bills, or fuel, or cough up the dough to buy your own truck and/or trailer. But if you buy your own rig, you will make more. Plus, you can kinda mandate your own hours, draw what you want and go where on earth you want to a certain extent.
All contained by all, you will catch to travel and see the country and get rewarded for it, but it can be long hours, alot of time away from home, and basicly living your life doing a tour.
To become an airline pilot is it better to walk to college or flight conservatory?
Question:
what do you think i should do? move about to college and learn to fly in that (3 year program at sault college) or stay home and get course at my local airport and just build my hours? im not sure what to do mete out i read that most airlines want a degree so the college route is smarter but the private route is faster and i receive more hours and into the work force faster. what is smarter? thanks
Answer:
I thought roughly the same article. I'd say shift to college first - some colleges actually enjoy a flight training program. Get a degree contained by Aeronautical Engineering then flight college should be a piece of cake. Plus the major Airlines would definately want you to own a college degree. Or even consider joining the Air Force.
Usually Airlines pick Air Force pilots a moment ago because of their dependability and flight hours.
I misunderstood the question,, I thought you expected go to a TRUE college,, and that sounds best,, but between what you asked,, go to the flight university
u need to find a college beside the flight program. take simple aviation courses.
To get hired, you call for to do both.
This means that you can any:
1) Go to a university that has a flight program
OR
2) Go to any university for any amount and do your flight training elsewhere
College degrees and the airline pilot- http://www.jetcareers.com/content/view/2...
You should make a note of that the airlines do not care what subject you through in. Just because you want to be a pilot does not anticipate you must major contained by aviation. However, if you really want to do so, here's a list of aviation universities- http://www.uaa.aero
As an aspiring pilot, I suggest visit these sites for lots of helpful info-
